VeevaSystems vs. CegedimDendrite

Oooohhhh...this is so clever...hope they realize that Salesforce has a very open partner model and anyone can become an ISV partner and build a pharma CRM platform ... globally now!

oh well...as they say in French (I think)...se la veeva! Better yet, let me try it in my language...Hasta la vista, veeva!!! because you s_ _ _ hehehehehehe

it's not surprising and i am actually happy to see this happenning. the dirty french have not earned my respect and in fact, they can take their blue eyeglass framed wearing, cigarrette smoking, bad attitude displaying, disloyal selves back to dirty france and go sit on the 'eyesore tower' where they belong.

What I don't understand is how Veeva Systems claims to have a "PreValidated" system. Isn't every install customer configuraqtion unique?
This is an actual question. Does anybody have a coherent answer to this?

Pre validated means that the base system is validated as being PDMA compliant. The previous poster is correct, the legal requirements are that the final system be validated by the client.

The value in pre-validated is that the system designer already has the bulk of the test scripts and cases ready made for use by the client.

C/D went down that path with the legacy TEAMS app a long time ago, in the end it did not mean anything to potential clients.

Veeva System's win of the Lilly Account (a lonnng time Dendrite customer) is validation that this alternative is a smart move for Large Pharma clients.
I am very happy to keep hearing this news as Veeva seems to be levelling the playing field in this space. Competition of this type was never REALLY there for Dendrite until now. This is great news for our industry. Maybe this will help motivate C/D to be realistic with their pricing and focus on us with innovative new software/service offerings now.

Get a grip and do some CI (that is competitive intelligence - since you are certainly not "in the know!")! Cegedim has had this offering - globally - for years now - and they don't need to depend on outside vendors and loosy goosy partnerships to offer it to their clients. What amuses me most is that with all this talk, Veeva has nothing to call their own - not even their own board on this miserable site...soooooo sad!!!!
