Why the hell do these people work for a pharma company when they refuse to get a vaccine that is proven to be extremely safe and efficacious. Find a different career.

Merck will be putting people on unpaid leave starting 1-24-22. They will be terminated on 2-14-22 if they don't get vaccinated.

They are letting go people that have received exemptions both medical and religious for no good reason.

They have posted peoples jobs before there have been let go in an effort to intimidate.

The people they are letting go will not get paid vacation time or severence.

People who live in safe states (TX, MT, ND, KS) are currently not effected by Merck's actions.

Time is coming for a class action lawsuit.

Are you saying that people that were given the religious exemption and then Merck later took the exemption back AND then the employee later decided to get the vaccine to KEEP their job are later fired by Merck BECAUSE they originally claimed a religious exemption? Why would Merck fire the Vaccinated employee?

No. Merck accepted the exemptions then decided that certain employee's still could not continue to work for Merck. They were determined to be a to high of risk.

They are being put on unpaid leave with the option of finding a less risky job inside of Merck or get vaccinated. The problem is there are not any less risky jobs available to move to.

Plenty of elitism on both sides of this issue. If you don’t want the vax fine, I know people who got the COVID vax but still refuse to get a flu shot. But don’t go telling people they are sheep for listening to the experts. They are smart enough to judge for themselves whether or not someone is an expert. Likewise quit hyperventilating over people who judged it differently and are refusing the vax. Move on.
