Today's reorg is the confluence of Artificial Intelligence and sales people who don't sell anything anymore. Now that systems are locking out reps and adopting AI that can perform inventory management and route the Rx in the EMR and through the formulary and Prior Auth and Claims and rebate process, where does the sales person come in? Sales by relationships in Pharma, is dead.

You keep telling yourself that. The reps have more impact than you realize.

You're optimistic and so am I, however, our optimism most likely won't help us in this situation. There is definitely going to be a reorg internally, all the signals are there. People getting moved into new roles and their previous rules aren't being backfilled. Appears to be an effort to move and protect talent.

For the field, I predict a tweaking of territories taking place from the TM up to the AVP's. We definitely have stuff to sell ( and possibly new indications) but I'm not sure our current footprint matches our evolving needs.

Current footprint is changing for the field. There will not be enough positions for everyone. Announcement to field week before Thanksgiving.

Tenure makes a difference.. and where someone lives. Too many overlapping roles. Reps sharing all lunches isn’t needed. One can do it and sell both products or indications. Territories will get bigger. No one else in any Lilly role has those tiny territories and two people. It’s about time. And LVA.. please clean it up. Half of them don’t work or ever leave their houses.

Who shares lunches?
 








what will time frame be? announced? reps allocated? then implemented? any info on VERP?
Is this total make over of PCP and Spec territories? someone inside share...around the holidays is not "respect for people"
