Townhall on Sep 10

Lilly has kept Reps out of the field since March. They are keeping reps home till next year. By the time everyone goes out again, a new model will be in place. No need for as many reps. Minimum disruption to customers as they haven’t seen a lilly rep in months. This will be a change like no other. Town hall September. Changes announced October and go in place in January.
Are you in the know or just speculation on your part?

I heard its about a plan to get us back in the field earlier. Since this Covid BS is way less deadly as originally thought and we are behind plan. They are seeing very little ROI on virtual interactions.

We now know this is true but will they announce a rep restructure next week? Or will all of the changes be in the internal marketing world?

The answer to the above question is both. Lilly needs significant change at all levels. If you are a sales rep be prepared to hear that there is a reorg coming. If you are in marketing they have already announced a reorg. Making people wait all this time is ridiculous. Just rip the bandaid off already. What they really need to do is clear out all of our leadership who continue to make outdated decisions and aren't held accountable for any of them.

This entire set up is a joke. Too many reps, asking for non inventive driving metrics and not paying for performance. You are awarding box checking over territories that are paying salaries at Lilly. You are going to lose top reps. You can’t pay bottom feeders who produce minimal scripts that don’t cover their pay the same as top performing reps. Too may primary care not earning their paycheck as well. But if you’re a minority you’re protected. Middle aged male here. I’m not. My chances of progression are nil at this point regardless of what I do or how I perform. .

oh if you’re a top performer with a lot of experience you’re getting paid the minimum. Facts are facts. Totally agree

Competitors know who the top performers are and are actively recruiting them. They know Lilly’s payout plan and are able to offer better comp.

Oh, you mean Novo, who has announced a large forthcoming layoff and currently has a hiring freeze/ Or maybe Sanofi, who is swirling the toilet bowl and only has Soleequa to sell now? Good luck, you seem empowered!

Umm that’s the only 2 pharma companies that you know? Lololol there many many companies that are looking for talent. And COVID has reminded companies that experience can be important...or so they tell me

And yes, I am thank you very much. Go drink the desperate Kool-aid you have no choice to make otherwise. Tell your spouse or pathetic past to get a better job so you’re not such a desperate sloth.

Sorry you’re a DBU primary care rep making shit money and not even earning you’re salary with TRXs. Good luck with that. Go get your education
