You'll have to wait for the home office flunkie to get back to their computer on Monday, then they won't be able to keep their fingers off the board. They'll, once again, talk about bottom feeders and why don't you quit. Oh, and the fake bonus they got because they are not in sales. You are right on when you say working for Dey is better than unemployment (depends though if you have the west coast mgr or not), our 401k, and our company car, such as it is, it's free anyway, other than that it definately is not a good place to work, and I don't have the enthusiusm I once had.

I guess I am what management here would consider to be a "top rep". Yes Ive won PC, have been promoted, consistent performer, etc. The consensus among those in the field I know is that we r working for a shady co, or at least some shady and questionable things have been going on for the past few years. Not sure how they r getting away with it, especially with the fuzzy math and numbers they generate and their ability to find ways to avoid paying people what they are truthfully owed. Since most all the past peeps from the "old dey" are gone, we only have mylan..ie lieland and the new management to blame for this outrageous and unethical behavior. Im kinda embarrassed to have them on my resume as im seeking better opportunites in and outside pharma, but it is what it is and have to accept the perception people have about me working for one of the top 5 worst pharma companies:(

Your observation is correct! They get away with it because they are not challenged. It would be way over our heads to do that, financially or otherwise, and they know it. I'm looking elsewhere, as well. Hopefully, the new year will bring better news.
 






Ok fair enough, then if you are such a go getter then why dont you spend your time and energy getting a better gig? If you know of a better place, do tell? If not stop complaining about stuff you cant/wont/never will change. Nobody cares if you stay here or use your "go getter" skills and roll out... life is too short and nobody likes a complainer!

Why leave? Dey is the only company that you can work a second job, be a cheerleader for the NFL, or a rep for another pharma company.

This is the companies stance: no longer are they worried that you their employee is happy at all. They feel that we are all expendable, because there are so many people who are unemployed. Well they are right, there are a lot of people out right now, but it doesn't mean that that we have to stay or or like what they are doing to us. I will be gone after the 1st of the year. I've already told my DM, he said he would go as well if he had another good opportunity. It's about open up out there, so be ready, have your resume updated and start your network now. Let Mylan pay you to shop for a better opportunity. The managers are looking to leave. They are starting to see through the BS that they have been handed. Remember they were given a lot more stock options then we were, so they have been treading water that things would get better. They now know that they wont. The new corporate lie is that we will be geting a new drug, I can't wait to see what dog they will give us next. They have been so good at gtting drugs thus far and then experts at setting goals. Hell they couldn't even predict Epi goals accurately and they had 20yrs of data to model.

In the beginning, I had hope, I had dreams that I would make a difference, I worked hard to make it happen, only to be crapped on over and over again. I need to respect who I work for and believe that I am respected in return, it is not happening here, so I will move on as soon as I can.
