I was informed by a summit rep because their manager had suggested finding new jobs. BUT looks like neither DS4 or Summit is gone. Calls happening all day and neither force is eliminated. I do know their are going to be One manager for both forces (summit/ds4) and some people will not have jobs but looks good for most. Who really knows truth at this point. seems smoke and mirrors so people keep working. its all limbo till 6/30! :(

At least they have put a hold on all hiring for other publicis contracts until the displaced reps get rolled into current openings.

This isn't publicis'a fault, they do as the customer's consultants say.

I just wish it was performance based and they said bottom 25% are out across the board. Weird that they will have 1 team with some reps selling 2 drugs and the other reps selling 3 drugs. Why not just have all 3 drugs pushed by the team. Sounds complicated for managers to have to manage a team with reps that have different bags.

I wish it was based on performance too. Good people are let go, and slackers are saved. They can't base anything on performance anymore because of PC lawsuits.
 






When you put in your two weeks notice with publicis do you have to be working through the end of the month to qualify for your bonus? If notice is put in on the 29th I would assume your close out would take at least two days so does that qualify you?

Nvm, I think you meant you put in 2 weeks. I don't know about that, all the IC agreement says is at you have to have been employed during that entire qtr to receive your bonus. Considering all the uncertainty and layoffs, I would just call hr and ask.

This whole thing is really shitty. We have to wait until the day before we are potentially laid off to find out if we are laid off? We were told we would be here through 12/2016. The company could have had the decency to at least give us a little more notice. Very demoralizing and demotivating. Those who are spared will remember how easily
our co-workers were thrown away like yesterdays news!

Another reason not to use these jobs as a real career! They are a nothing more than a little money while you are looking for a real gig !!

So, am I supposed to feel like Publicis values me? No clue if I will have a job in July. Very shitty, indeed!
