Completely accurate! Physicians haven't seen reps for years. Those that might just want the sandwiches. Housekeeping has better access to physicians, are respected and actually do a job. Big clown show.

The above post is absolutely 100% spot on. The only missing part is that pharma reps are well known for having no work ethic. Laziest and whiniest people I have ever dealt with. Either they were that way when they got in the industry or acquired it by being in this silly industry. Either way you will get no respect at all from any employer outside of pharma that knows about this ridiculous and corrupt industry that defines greed and corruption. I can't stop laughing about the person claiming reps have "highly transferable skills". Too funny.

I heard the plan was actually to do the layoffs on Sunday and they will have our fathers tell us we are fired! It's bad enough that my family knows I am a wheelie bag pushing "detail man" and they are embarrassed of me but now my father will tell me I am shit canned on Fathers Day! Can you say "lawsuit"?

You are projecting. Plus, your rant misses one key point. Reps are smart enough to consider the source. They also know the difference between opinion and evidence. Most are smart enough to recognize bullshit, and anyone who has survived in this industry for this long knows what those who couldn't cut it sound like. They sound like you, sweetie. Are you the one who posted about being fired at training on multiple threads? That must have sucked for you. If you were a rep, though, you would know that rejection is just another opportunity. Reps bounce back with confidence, despite adversity. Winners control their own futures. They don't focus their attention on tearing others down. Like you do. LOL.

I think they are the best in the business, so not everybody. Besides, they are a lot more than a contract company. I am pretty sure you don't know much about the company, but you do a lot of pontificating as a hobby. All of it negative. Maybe someday your "special skills" will help you in the real world. Not likely, but . . . I am an optimist. Even you can do something of value. Imagine that!
