Time For New Management

well, we can’t be honest with management. If we try then we are “ negative” and we will have a target on our back. This is one way of us voicing frustration. Don’t bulls$&t me, you know it’s the truth.

This guy gets it. You can NOT be honest or straightforward with your RD or anyone in upper management if you have concerns or if what you want to say could even slightly be taken as negative. I know this for a fact. So we nod and smile and wave the Supernus flag at POA but we all know it’s bullsh!t and this company is a dumpster fire that made a ton of money off the backs of cheap new reps, dangled carrot after carrot in front of us, and then dropped the ball every. Single. Time.

Gold card (absolutely awful idea that seemed amazing at first but then inflated our earnings/stock so that leaders could cash out while everyone else watched their stock plummet)
Coverage - something they swore they would never address in a marketing piece because it was just a smoke screen - now all of a sudden it’s a huge win and we should celebrate. Too little too late, you idiots.
CGRP- not our competition- won’t affect the migraine market, blah blah blah. Then all of a sudden, Jack is touting our success in the face of “significant new competition”

Why does upper management ALWAYS ignore/downplay/dismiss obstacles as “smoke screens” and yet turn around and say the exact opposite when talking to investors vs us reps????

The earnings calls have been enlightening for me. My RD never even mentioned them let alone encouraged me to listen. I understand it’s my responsibility to research the company I work for, but why should I have to when SUPN touts itself as such an icon of culture and values???

And before you say “why do you still work here if you don’t trust mgmt??” - please refer back to the many, MANY carrots that have been dangled before us for YEARS, only to have been yanked away.

We who are left are here because we had/have hope that Supernus was the right company for us and that it/we have a bright future. I will say this. Upper management are better salespeople to us than we are to our doctors.

You are spot on. The saddest thing is this could be still be a great company. Its all up to management on whether they learn from their mistakes or not. For starters medicaid represents 50% of the lives we will be targeting for 812, get it covered nationwide coast to coast. Not just TX/IN/MI/NC.

Managements tactics worked the first time around because we didnt know any better. This time if my manager tries to lecture me on selling in an office that is all medicaid and I dont have medicaid coverage. I will tell them to go f*ck themselves.

Straight facts. You CANNOT have a difference of opinion or discussion bout something you don’t agree with. Give your opinion when asked or respectfully disagree with something and you’ll get a written or verbal warning. Seen it happen. What a way to treat people you “care so much about”. Give me a break. Quit being so phony managers! And does it really make you feel good to tell us on Friday to lie to our offices? Pushing us to barge in disrespectfully because we are “essential workers” (HAHA) and then tell them “oops I didn’t see a sign on the window” saying I couldn’t come in. That’s a GREAT plan to gain access. We’ll hit that 5 call average in NO time! Especially since the sales force is crazy motivated now. “Make calls from your car” because we don’t trust you to make them from home. You guys are just embarrassing now. You’re screwing up this launch before (if) it ever happens cuz everyone hates you and has no motivation to work for you.

Real classy move with the “ essential “ worker letter. Another example of how disconnected management is from reality.

I’ve had every office tell me they are still no rep and to while my a$$ with it. That letter may change the way you approach the field but it doesn’t force offices to override their covid policy.

Wake up Rockville!!!

Not only is it completely useless but to some offices, full of ACTUAL essential workers, it’s a huge insult. No way in hell am I printing that or showing anyone. Seems like every week there’s something new that I swear is the lowest they’ll go but then I’m always surprised with the latest round of garbage being fed to me.

my real concern/issue here is that you actually showed that letter to your offices LOL
