Ever wonder if all this chaos, bad coverage, horrible bonus plans, pushy management, are all a sign that we as an organization is due for a new management style? One that is up with the current times ?

Started when a couple key people left. Down hill since then. And a lot of these people in management seem too arrogant, greedy and power hungry to notice or care. Supernus will lose a lot of good reps and employees because they can’t get it together. And it’s sad because a lot of reps are still dedicated and trying to work hard for this company but when you are constantly belittled and disrespected it’s really pretty challenging. It’s sad. And it’s becoming embarrassing to work for this company.

The over the top style if management comes from the top and imho has only gotten worse since he left. I will say on the earnings call an analyst asked jack if supernus was in cash flow mode meaning the growth stage was done or even the market share was eroding. Jack side stepped the question but it was obvious he sees no growth for TXR. The simple fact that they continue to pay on growth shows how out of touch our management team is. Other companies pay reps to hold market share when they have an 8 year old product!

Mgmt would benefit for calling our situation what it is:
- Stiff competition
- Drugs not covered
- Eroding national market share
- Products that lack relevance
- A bonus plan that does not motivate the field to stay positive
- No new data for years
- Stock in the toilet
- A highly unfavorable environment for reps due to Covid

I'm sure I left something out on my list so if anyone has anything to add feel free.

Instead mgmt holds a cc from their home and demands we find a way to make more calls. Here is the million dollar question: We are substantially behind forecast for the year and I bet the big whigs are still getting their FAT bonuses.

We are behind forecast? How much?

Supernus Reps get out. USWM Reps here we are to save the day!

Give it time, you think it’s the reps but you have no idea. I received better development from my entry level b2b sales job & made more money. The reps are not the problem they hired talented people. management is extremely behind the times. They are just taking their plays from their 1990’s Shire playbook and thinking they will work 30 years later and it’s a different world.

Upper management is obsolete. They are 20 years behind. Time to adapt to the new market landscape and only way is to change management.

The tragedy behind this is upper management knows their outdated tactics aren’t effective. Nonetheless, they keep implementing these failures knowing they will fail. It’s all about holding on to power for them.
