Throwing in the towel

"We are responsible to our employees, the men and women who work with us throughout the world. Everyone must be considered as an individual. We must respect their dignity and recognize their merit. They must have a sense of security in their jobs... Compensation must be fair and adequate...."

I have been a very loyal J&J employee for many years. I look at what is happening at ESC with disgust. I have had many long conversations with close colleagues listening to them vent and then encouraging them to stick with it and not to give up on ESC. I hate to admit it but the so called nay sayers were right. I am throwing in the towel. Time for me to look for a winning team where mediocrity is not praised. Best of luck to those that stick it through or those who do not land somewhere new.

It's disgusting when you see reps who have never hit plan given the opportunity for a promotion. A culture of "everyone gets a trophy" breeds losers

Perception is all that matters at ESC. Rattle off a few "success emails" and throw together a few conference calls and whammo you are on the fast track. I work with a rep that never goes to work. Accounts tell me they never see her and she is losing business to Covidien... She plays the game and gets all the kudos.

The Credo is a joke. As long as Cock boy is POTUS and the health care industry is in turmoil J&J is going to abuse it's sales force. I don't see upper management taking a pay cut. J&J Management is famous for leading from the rear. Our VP of sales is as good a liar as you will ever find and loves to use the word transparency. I think he's a Peter puffer.
