Throwing in the towel

I have been a very loyal J&J employee for many years. I look at what is happening at ESC with disgust. I have had many long conversations with close colleagues listening to them vent and then encouraging them to stick with it and not to give up on ESC. I hate to admit it but the so called nay sayers were right. I am throwing in the towel. Time for me to look for a winning team where mediocrity is not praised. Best of luck to those that stick it through or those who do not land somewhere new.

Fact is that this change is a cost savings measure and overall comp will be less. Resources are few and managment does not have a clue. I am adapting by leaving. Like most successful sales reps I am motivated by money and I want to be set up for success. Good luck hitting your endo cutter number..... never mind we can't even manufacture enough to open it to new shops!
 






I like all the double talk. It's very entertaining. My whole team is a freaking joke. No one wants to switch to their new roles which are gray areas at best. Management has no clue other than to play favorites and crap on the rest of us. I love the fact everything is built in with abundant wiggle room so they can manipulate it anyway they want. I've been looking since January but since all the other medical companies are or have laid off people to, it's been tough. I'm looking outside the industry. This play blows.

Not throwing in the towel....this is too much fun watching the house of cards fall. I'm staying till the truth is exposed and bankruptcy is declared, then I will have the satisfaction of throwing in the towel.

Puh-leez...Intuitive has a poisonous culture..worst than EES. You will make good money for a while but most don't stay because they can't stand it there. A house of cards for sure.

The way I see it is you can have two of the following. Not all three:

1- Great money
2- Great location
3- Great culture

Ethicon might have a better culture but you can count on not making big $$. Intuitive you can make more but give up culture. This is assuming this is a job within the same city. I got in this industry to make money not play politics.
 


















My problem is I just can't stand being in the or with the same docs day in and day out. Let's face it, this jok requires you to be in the or to maintain a presence. I swear to God I just can't do it anymore. I feel totally useless and I don't know for the life of me how anyone can do it

Its not the work that is the problem. I guess some people just have different levels of self respect or maybe they are oblivious to what others think of them. Newsflash, most not all but most customers want you to leave them the hell alone. Im not afraid to admit that this bothers me...a lot! If you think you are not being a pest then you are not a perceptive person. Am I really the only one that gets this?
