Can anyone tell me what housing is like for the RN program? And how travel is handled during the 18 months?
Yes, housing will be handled as follows: You will be sharing a room in a sleezy motel with 3 testosterone - infused male drug reps! Enjoy! Can anyone tell me what housing is like for the RN program? And how travel is handled during the 18 months?

Looking for a real answer on this please, if anyone knows.

Travel: We will supply you with a horse or alternatively you can bring your own donkey. Anything else requires CEO approval.
You are correct...keep in mind, we are drug reps...we are here because we can't do anything else and don't know much. And forget that college degree, anyone can get a college degree...I have a major in Greek Mythology and a minor in African Tribal studies...But I am good at feeding the office staff and stuffing myself during lunch I can play a round of golf and still be at home at dinner time. What kind of college educated adult says this...I'm amazed at how many teenagerish responses are on the board in general. These are just simple questions the recruiter doesn't have time to answer/won't disclose and candidates that are just trying to get a better understanding of the program sheesh...
I am beginning to agree with you. The longer I've been in this industry, the lower the bar seems to be in terms of hiring new reps. I was hired right out of college and I had good grades and many opportunities for jobs. The pharma companies paid well and were a coveted job for a 22 year old. Now, we get the people who have sketchy resumes, questionable achievements in past sales roles, and poor communication skills. Not to mention a lack of maturity. I look around the room in meetings and wonder how some of these people were hired. The posts and the responses on these boards demonstrate what I mean. I think our roles are in the same bin as insurance sales people and realtors. You get a few good ones, but for most it's the last refuge. Nobody graduating college is planning their future to include selling insurance. You usually get that title after you're laid off or fired.

Yes, spineless "yes" DMs, afraid to stand up for their reps...no courage to stand up to their RSD or sales leadership...pathetic...It never used to be like that!!! It's all about the almighty Dollar, calls per day, call frequency...fake call notes...it's mall lies, everyone knows it, everyone plays the game...Insurance agents and Wealth Managers make a lot more money that the Pharma Rep hate to tell you. Secondly, Pharma is not sells at all not even close to sales. The only thing you are correct on is that the gene pool in pharma compared to 20-25 years ago is not even close to intelligent. If you are going to college to be a Pharma rep you might want to rethink your career path and intellectual level. Ditto goes for the DMs. The DMs of Pharma today are close to Grocery store managers.

They don’t want to know, which is classical of Otsuka. Looking away is easier, so you don’t have to deal with the issues. It’s part of our “culture”. No other industry operates this way!! When you are a drug rep, you don’t participate in life, you are watching life passing you by!Exactly, Spend 100-200K on a college education to do this??!!!! Serious bad decision making and level of personal confidence. 5 years in Pharma and you are sunk for the rest of your life for the hopes of any decent educated decision. This job should seriously be farmed out to Associate Degrees at the max. Same w/ the DMs and RDs. Everything is fake and nothing is truthful including the daily activities. I always wonder if Senior Management even know how mush of a waste the field level is?
Well the only way this “business model” is financially feasible is because of the outrageous drug prices that allow to finance this waste. This is why the garbage we sell i.e. Nuedexta, costs over $1200 a month!! And our website makes it look like one can be proud to work here! It’s pure GREED! One hell of a charade!Exactly, Spend 100-200K on a college education to do this??!!!!
