This place is screaming for new leadership













Let's be honest, if you have worked here for at least 5 years, you know this used to be so much better of a place to work at. The culture has changed dramatically. The warm fuzzy we used to have as reps, feeling valued and appreciated is gone. Dead and buried. The leadership confidence is gone. The "One Astellas" feeling caught the train outta here. It's truly a shame. This place used to be great. I used to reccomend reps come work here with no reservations. The decisions that are made from leadership have been questionable lately, and sometimes upsetting and defying common sense. But it is what it is I guess. Just gonna keep my head down and keep grinding.

I'm on the inside and you guys better stand up for yourself. They are hiring people for 85-90,000 and will have layoffs in March. The only drug is 15% to goal. Lynn is trying to saving her ass and money.

Stand up for ourselves??? And how are we supposed to do that? We're getting screwed at every turn now. Measly to nothing commission, and now everybody's being forced to get signatures after 3:30, and more signatures, which quite frankly is difficult these days. Nobody wants this drug and if they do they've already got it stacked up on their shelves.
 


















This is what happens when you shortchange your entire salesforce on salaries. The bonus becomes an essential part of your earnings. Lesson learned for the fat pigs at corporate who have paid themselves great salaries. This is a crisis in a American economy that is difficult for all. I hate you bastards!

This is the fist time in my long long career in this business that I wish my lunch budget was my bonus. Thats how severely broken this company is.
Given everything that's going on, you are just ignorant to make that comment. 20% of the salary I have been acclimated to earning for the past 6 years has been taken away. And we're supposed to be thrilled and motivated with that? Come on, steel into reality. The leadership at this company is completely inept and it's gotten worse and worse with each year. And now they're going to make all the territories doubles after they cut our salaries... It's just completely irresponsible. It makes no sense that you would want to upset the very sales force you're depending on saving your butts from this failure of a drug.
 






Each of the 400 of you generate about 8 scripts a week and you are complaining about not getting a bonus rather than wondering why is Astellas still depositing a base salary in your checking account like a clock work every two weeks!

I understand your frustration. I am right there with you. Veozah works wonderfully. The label is what's terrible because we lack talented people in Northbrook. Nobody wants to live there, so you get people from Chicago and the mediocre types that only care about money.

The 200 reps was a great idea, but the consulting group that aligned us did a horrific job. Knowing Astellas they paid for the cheapest service. Penalizing the doubles financially is a complete atrocity.

We have about over 50 positions in Northbrook that could eliminated tomorrow and not be missed. Mostly high paying do nothing jobs.

The strategic accounts team with the asian lady leading it needs to be abolished. These are all former managers that found a cozy job that pays. All of it needs to go.

What is left of the hospital team needs to be eliminated. Hopefully we could rollover the good people there into the manage markets division. This division needs man power and new leadership all over. We also have to hold the reps. accountable that haven't gotten any wins. Quite a few of these people.

Oncology should be downsized to half of the salesforce to finish out Xtandi. Very little transparency with this group. The pipeline is lacking.

With all of this being said the President and VP of Sales need to leave immediately.
