should b no overnight travel. careful with labcorp in that area. it's a mess. hight turn over all over the ne and mid atlantic. no growth there, only filling spots where others have been fired for non performance.
My experience is that LabCorp employees view of the company is very directly related to their performance. Those that perform poorly or do not work hard or get good results hate it. Those who work hard and perform well love the job. Lots of freedom and flexibility if you are performing well.
I wonder if all the disgruntled people posting here are current or former employees? My guess is former, and not by choice.
Revised Non compete is nothing like anything I have ever signed in my 16 years at LabCorp:
(a) Should your employment with Laboratory Corporation of America terminate for any reason up until 1 year from the date of thie agreement, you will not provide services, in any capacity, whether as an employee, consultant, independent contractor, or otherwise, to: Aurora Diagnostics; ARUP Laboratory; Bayer Diagnostics; Bio Reference Laboratories; Bostwick laboratories; Boule Nordic AB; Caris Diagnostics; CBL Path Inc.; Cerner Corporation; Chempaq, Denmark; Chi Systems, Inc.; Clarient, Inc.; EFK Diagnostics; Endocare Services, Inc.; Enzo Biochem, Inc.; GenOptics; GenPath (Bio Reference Laboratories Inc.; Genomic Health Inc.; Genzyme Corporation; Global Pathology Laboratory Services; GI Pathology; IMPATH Inc.;Inverness Medical; LifeScan Inc.; Mayo Laboratory; Monogram Biosciences, Inc.; Myriad Genetics, Inc.; NeoGenomics Inc., NextGen healthcare Information Systems, Inc.; Nu-Tech Bio-Med, Inc.; Physicians Clinical Laboratory Inc.; Quest Diagnostics; ProPath Laboratory; Psychemedics Corp; QBC Inc.; Roche Diagnostics; Siemens Healthcare Information; Sonic Healthcare; Stanbio Laboratory; Westcliff Medical Laboratories, Inc.; and such additional persons or entities that provide products or services that compete with the Business of the Company as the Company may communicate in writing from time to time; and their subsidiaries or their successors or assigns up until one (1) year from the date of this Agreement.
Signing a new non-compete, while you are currently employed by the same employer, is generally non-enforcable. You do not have a choice as to whether or not to sign it, as you need to keep your job, right? That makes the signing of the new non-compete somewhat under duress, so let them pound sand after you quit.
When are you going to get it through your thick skull - no one here cares about this crap.
You really are a pathetic soul.
Why don't you turn your energy and effort into something positive instead of trying to discredit and smear someone's name.
Why are you so obsessed with this subject - again, NO ONE cares.
One word for you - therapy.
Seek help.
