I hate to admit it but I have been feeling the exact same way for years. Customers have very little respect for our industry and same goes for the general public. I am in so deep now it is difficult to change industries. It is sad but the industry did it to themselves being so greedy over the decades.

Correct. People at Otsuka are not here to "work" but pulling the wool over doctors head to participate in the big Rexulti scam.

There is nothing but a big hidden yawn from docs about agitation. Atypical's have been used for years for this, so this is nothing new. Seroquel is the big one in my territory for agitation because it’s practically free and it works at low doses. But I am sure I will eventually be able to tell the Big Lie long enough that these stupid docs will start using it for agitation. After all, we have fooled them since the beginning with Rexulti so it’s likely we can do it again.

Amazon today announced a huge initiative to train people of all walks of life on Artificial Intelligence. This is a huge deal. AI will be bigger than the internet. Your age and past experience are of no interest, your adaptability to change and processing new information is.
You can find out more at AWS.Amazondotcom. You can also get certified, all at a very reasonable cost. Beats schlepping donuts into an office in order to deliver a few soundbites about Rexulti. There are many areas of specialization, they are all needed and well paid. Many employers stated they can't find people qualified to help them with their issues according to the Wall Street Journal.

Think about that. It's your future or do you want to be a bagel mom or bagel dad 15 years from now?

How many of you are dreading going out on 1/3 and pretending to sell Rexulti? The thought of it makes me weak. 2024 will be a year of change. I have to find another company that has real, meaningful drugs to promote. Drugs that can really have a positive impact on patient lives. I don’t see how we can’t have a massive reorganization in 2024, but who knows. The status quo is alive and well at Otpuka!
 






Don't count on a reorganization. Otsuka needs the bloated salesforce to justify the useless HO staff. If they are short on money, they simply raise the price of Rex....as they always have. It is no surprise that healthcare costs go up every year, while profits and waste at pharmaceutical companies are at an all time high.

Nobody with a normal brain can drive around all day and talk about Rexulti more than once. There is absolutely nothing to say or discuss.

As I said before, milk the cow thoroughly and find something profitable to do that distracts you from Otsuka. It's the only way to endure this crap and keep your sanity.

Oh I am milking it alright, and so are the Lundbeck reps which I haven’t talked to in months. No need to talk with them. I just received my real estate license, and hope to get that going in 2024. It should be easy to do things around it, and Otsuka should never be able to catch me. If I only sell a couple of houses a year, that’s extra income! My brain shuts off when trying to talk about Rexulti and I end up with a signature. There is no way in hell I can show fake enthusiasm with this drug anymore.

RE has become a very tough gig my friend. Last year, there were more realtors than houses for sale. Most people don't make it in RE past 2 years.
Nevertheless, I wish you best of luck. Your managing broker will probably ask for a monthly desk fee. Consider commercial RE instead. Less competitive to get the listings!

You may wish to consider buying distressed or foreclosed properties, fixing them up and selling them. You will need good market knowledge, and perhaps some help from a handy and knowledgeable buddy. The three most important things to consider, are location, foundation and price. Most of the stuff is not complicated to fix, but it's tough to do it alone.You will most likely need a permit to do work, especially plumbing and electric, and need someone to sign off on it, after the work is done. Right now houses are relatively inexpensive in most areas, due to high interest rates. That will change next year. Start on a low priced house first to get experience. it's a lot of work, but you can get handsomely rewarded. The chances of you selling a house next year are slim, with so many realtors on the market vying for business. ask yourself this: Why should I list my house with a newbie, when there are dozens of agents in my area that have sold 20 or more homes? I wouldn't, would you?
