The stock price

You raise a good point in the lawyers. I have worked for several large Pharma companies, was dumbfounded at the number of lawyers we have, many of them in positions they have no background or experience in. They are embedded in the business through the company, have seen nothing like it at any other large Pharma company.

All great stuff. I agree 100%. The problem is we have an our version of the “deep state” in the Legal & HR departments. Their tentacles are imbedded in every aspect of our business and ultimately have the final say in anything we do.
When the pendulum swung in their direction in 2009, they never let go and all bets were off. Until their is a leader who puts them back in check, we will have more of the same.
I believe their rise to power was the start of our decline as company.

Do you work at Pfizer? If so, you would know exactly when our decline started. and why. It was years before 2009. Years.

The are able to focus, on social issues like LGBT, ESG, DEI...and sr. execs writing books that no one reads, pumping up each others books on LinkedIn....
Yup all of these ass clowns need to go. Social justice warriors that feel better about themselves destroying corporate America and our once great country. The idiots leading this company are the same idiots in NY that seem to think it’s okay for migrants to beat up police officers and release them without bail. I’m not sure how anyone can support these leaders and these politicians. It’s disgusting!!!

Would you people please give it a break and go over to another company's site?! On and on you sissy-mary's ramble incessantly about our leaders bering social justice warriors or writing books...and then without fail, regardless of topic you quickly and inevitably try to throw in your political leanings. Gee...maybe you're being paid to do so? ;)

Gee…But it’s okay for Albert to send out emails to 87k employees sharing his political leaning? We post on a voluntary message board. He posts on a corporate message board owned by stockholders where employees are forced to read his messages. As an employee I prefer he run the company and keep politics out of it. We would all be better off. And always hearing about Sally supporting the DNC. Really no place for this in corporate America.

I'm not the one that you replied to, but I'd like to weigh in, if I may. Flame me if you like, but in my opinion we have no right to complain if we're doing the same exact thing every chance that we get. No one reads their missives, anyway!

Ok, back to topic. The stock price continues to tank. We are actually about 0.70 below where a capital investment company wanted to buy in less than a month ago. I hope they are buying all they want now. Maybe they can force some change.

I think we are even below where AB made his Bold Pension Bet. It’s fine the board will make him all good at comp time this year.

AB’s time is coming….hopefully soon. The stock price continues to just take a beating. ‍♂️

His ego has finally brought him down. Remember, these idiots were telling us we’d see high single digit growth from 25 to 30 before they pissed away $72 billion in COVID acquisitions. On the most recent earnings call we were told we’d see high single digit growth from 25 to 30. Another reason The Street just doesn’t trust or like him. The math just doesn’t add up.

Ego, yes. In big buckets full and topped off with smug arrogance. Unfortunately he hasn’t been brought down at all, nor have any of the toadies that develop every bad decision that AB makes.

It is incredible to me that the board seems satisfied with this crap show. I can’t wait to see the executive comp plan they lavish upon the c suite execs this year.

The Street didnt trust or like McKinney, Kindler, or Ian Read before AB, either. If you've been here for awhile you'll know that since Bill Steere stopped gracing the cover of Forbes, we remain the laughingstock of the industry (as it pertains to identifying and developing managers of all levels). Im pretty sure that only Pfizer could p**** away all of that unexpected moulah from COVID with these useless expansions and creation of new divisions. Its a pity.

AB all about attention, he loves public and media attention…Guy took a Vax developed by another company, build manufacturing capacity to get it out, thats his “moon shot”…manufacturing capacity we no longer need to use by the way…how this guy still has a job is a mystery to me

Yeah, I am paid to spend time on Cafepharma boards spreading the message in hopes of converting a few sales reps…your funny

Pfizer has an ad in the Super Bowl today, planned for the third quarter. How does a pharma company down 50% in cap value and more than 40% in revenue justify a silly and very expensive Super Bowl ad buy? Who signs off on these asinine decisions? The cost of the ad, the loyalties for music and art and the business purpose of it all? Don’t they think about the optics of the spend and the ridicule likely to come from the lyrics? Heaven help us, this company is run by imbeciles

It all looks like feel good BS. At the very end, it seems PFE is trying to position as an oncology company. Waste of money and flings the door open for ridicule. If you are at a SB party, maybe head out at halftime.
