Steer clear of this absolute mess. The Culture of this company is absolutely toxic.

Great products, great mission!!! Unfortunately, the strategies and the management are an absolute train wreck.

Cologuard is a successful product, not because of the strategies implemented, but in spite of the strategies implemented over the years.

The old guard is long gone, and scattered to the winds. This was an amazing place to work in 2015-2019, but those days are long gone.

If you are interviewing here, you should pull your name from consideration and find something different.

I am sorry. Yes, that is who they are. Companies such as this usually fade away pretty quickly. The facade and the showmanship can only last for so long. They are making a lot of noise about those 2 products. If those are dead-ends (hope they are), then the company will dissipate faster. Just be careful to not work in another company where these fools show up in management in the future.

Don't take your job too seriously. 90% of us who dont are doing just fine as reps for this company.

I'm sure 90% are absolutely fine collecting a paycheck and having no impact on driving the business. It's mind-boggling to me that Exact would pay out so much money to reps and managers. Such a massive waste of money.

What exactly do you mean by "so much money to reps" Exact is known to UNDERPAY...low $90s to $115k is incredibly low, especially for diagnostic space. If you're entry level sales that's fine, but anyone with more than 8 or so years in the industry is getting screwed here

Getting screwed?? As if someone has a gun to their head and forcing them to take what Exact is giving them? LMAO! If a rep thinks they're getting screwed, (after accepting the salary they've been offered as an AT WILL employee), then they simply deserve whatever they get.

Diagnostic space? There is nothing diagnostic about Cologuard. Oncology reps are paid significantly more than screening, but the oncology reps are underpaid from an industry standpoint for sure. Again, nobody is forcing reps to accept positions, or stay in their current position, it's a choice.

And yes, reps DO NOT drive Cologuard sales anymore. Cologuard reps are a complete waste of money.

Some of this is true. The tv commercial drives about 70% of the quarterly revenue that the entire sales team drives. Soon the tv ad will be all that’s needed.

They’re going to index it down. Beth and Jim screwed up the goals and now they have everyone way over goal. They are already making moves to adjust it.

Bullshit! The goals are annual now unless you inherit other accounts when they don’t backfill then they adjust up. The 117-119% regional goal will drop in q2 and q3 based on how the numbers were distributed. Year end it will normalize between 100-103% like usual. Enjoy Q1, it will be most peoples best quarter

You want to talk about 'massive' waste of money? Start at the top. Maybe Kevin Conroy at least does some showmanship to keep the company afloat for the time being, but the majority of the SVPs, and VPs under him are the ones who are getting paid 'massive' amounts of money for doing NADA. Many are SO embarrassingly stupid. I know the landscape in R&D and will tell you that the clown VPs and SVPs in R&D (all of them, no exceptions as of today) have actually even disrupted whatever little productive work was happening there. That is because they've hired experienced people from the outside, and have gotten in the way and 'tell' the experienced people how to do their jobs. The result is that the experienced people continue to leave.

Any rep or employee makes peanuts when compared to your clown c-suite. Focus on the 'massive' wastage over there.
