A gift certificate! Wow, that is cool. I'm sure the bank that holds your mortgage will take that as a form of payment any day. Isn't it sad that the gift certificate is worth more than our stock!!!! You forgot to mention that they also paid for our lunch at the meeting too. What a great company.

I interviewed for a Sales management position. That was 2 years ago, sounds like my read was correct. I am now successfull at my current position and happy. It appears I dodged a life changing bullet! things happen for a reason.
 






Hey team oxford. I decided go ahead to and work this week (which has been about 2 months from the last time) and I realized how bad this job is. Nobody wants to see us, nobody cares, and this product is the lowest on anyone priority list. I'm so miserable and envious of all the people who quit or got fired. The 6 + months that I have worked here is like suffering a slow death. I think I'm going to set myself on fire this weekend.
 






Not working and thinking about setting yourself on fire seems like a bigger issue than just taking to the message boards. Maybe it's time to grab a tampon, some Ben and Jerry's, and have a good cry.

Your ego is even bigger than your waistline. You can huff and puff on here all you want, but you're losing all the candidates that are worth anything. Not only are they seeing your unprofessional and petty back and forth with the reps, but they're calling us all to get the real scoop and we're giving it to them. You will end up with the crappy reps who have no choice because they need a J-O-B.

This is career suicide. Selling tests just isn't something to write home about. I just left and and was lucky to get back into my old arena. These aren't lies on on this site. Not everyone can be wrong. I'll give you my POV! Here it is.

Holy crap, look how the stock shit the bed just like the company itself. I have had 3 potential new hires call me. I told them exactly how this is no different from a pharma job. I explain in detail the POV and the type of sale this is. I also go into the role playing BS in detail as well. After about 4 minutes there is no one interested in the job. Why would I ever wish this nightmare on anyone.

I knew 4 months in to this job that it was a nightmare. I thank God that I was just extended an offer that smokes the money that I make here and I absolutely positively accepted it and will be on my merry way within the next 4 weeks. Hey Wayne, that's 2 weeks to completely blow off and relax and the other 2 will be spent on vacation with my family that I never got to see. I will continue to watch the stock drop from the sidelines.

Also I told several people at the bar last night that my dad the alligator wrestler died wrestling an alligator. So if anyone asks that's real.

So when did you leave? Was it July or August? This was obviously written by a person who currently works with the company. Don't try to hide around other peoples the departure, feel free to share your thoughts and own your comments...especially when you still work here.
