Takeda, it's time to pay your people more!

Whenever the field sales force gets smaller, pharma companies always start to micromanage to gain more control. Watch out for increasingly subjective measures tied to rep pay, designed to force reps to obey instead of just sell, it's a true death nail to any sales organization. BTW, most all of this comes from Steve Schaefer, he's a militaristic control freak!!

The cheapskates that run our divisions should be ashamed. 2.5% raise was widespread… “just be happy you have a job” that’s BS. We are out selling, working for our paychecks you should be happy to keep those of us who are still left who haven’t gone to corium, supernus or wherever.
Food, gas, lumber, services have all increased and you can’t give the people who keep your lights on a 4% raise??? Shameful.

That’s the Takeda reputation no more tip bonus, cheap raises across the board, back to back years of canceling cresset trips, not hiring anybody in the biggest sales unit for over a year now, interim everything aka making one person do multiple jobs the list goes on…

This sums it up. Greedy senior management!

Happy with my raise because I hardly work anyway.

My company (not Takeda) gave out 1.3% raises across the board for even the highest performers. They also allowed the dumbass district managers to strong arm the reps back into the field last May 2020 while constantly telling us we should only be "reactive" to providers that ask for us to stop by their offices. Talking out of both sides of their mouths to cover their asses. Shameful, trash company and leadership. I therefore now only show up to around two lunches a week and that is it. I don't work at all unless it is to do a lunch and gather some signatures. My company can fuck right off. They will get what they pay for, and they way they treated us during this virus makes me happy to do it.
