Supernus buys our CNS division?

Since you live in the supernus bubble still you probably don't understand that most pharma companies don't expect their reps to work from 8:30 am-5 pm. They also don't have managers ride with you for the ENTIRE day. Most companies pay their reps 25-30% higher than the average rep at supernus. So altogether our new colleagues will have to get used to getting paid less, working longer days and get to experience more micromanaging from their managers. Sounds like a shit deal for them.

You need to leave

Supernus rep here. New reps make around $65-70k plus bonus. Company-wide they try to average $6k bonus per quarter. So the average rep makes $90-100k. Some definitely make more. Especially if they have been here for a while.

How does this line up with US World meds?

It doesn't line up at all. How in the world does a pharmaceutical rep get paid that little??? It looks like supernus is a stepping stone to a real pharma company....

but are you a real pharma company if you got bought? Or just lucky to be in an industry that pays extremely generous for a fairly simple job

For you US World med reps, just get used to stuff like this. Management here loves to call us spoiled whiny brats and talk down to us for being former Enterprise reps (which is ironic considering the fact that they specifically sought us out because they knew hiring anyone with pharma experience wouldn’t have given their salary offer a second glance).

welcome to Supernus. Can’t wait to share my room with you at our quarterly meetings. FYI, I poop at 6:30am on the regular so just adjust your schedule around that.

I can’t wait to see the posts here when you guys start having real “supernus” ride days. 7:30-5:30 two straight days manager in every single call. Pre call and post call discussion like you are saving the world. Enjoy

That won't fly with me. I have 15 years of experience and a ton of great relationships with docs. I bet I have more experience than a good portion of your supernus managers.

And don't let the product not being covered stop you from growing. That is nothing but a "smoke screen" that you need to sell through.

You think we care? Its Supernus with a capital S by the way
- your new Daddy

PS most of our managers were reps for about 2 years so that part is true

"i have 15 years experience" you are not anything special buddy. Most of us have moved more market share in the last 3 years not knowing any doctors than you have knowing your doctors. Just because you claim to have "experience" does not mean that you could outsell anyone of us

You've been a drug rep for 15 years? Your kids must be so proud when you're driving them to school, but first you have to stop off at Starbucks for the assorted coffee drinks you're bringing in to the gals in the office.

You've been a rep for 15 years? Have you ever heard the staff giggle about how pathetic you are that you've never moved on or up in your career?
