OK, man. I hate it when i make a grammatical mistake. I have a thesaurus and a Harbrace manuel as my constant companions, because I wasn't paying enough attention to the nuns.

Doing something you love is great, but not qualifying for your bonus because the goals are totally unrealistic is demoralizing and unmotivating. I can't afford to live off my base salary alone, and I doubt most people here can. In my entire pharma career--even in the worst of the recession--I have never had such unrealistic goals and not received a bonus. Everyone knows that the best salespeople are motivated by money, and when you know that you aren't going to get any of that money, you lose your enthusiasm.

I will have a LOT of respect for MNK, and trust, if they change the goals to make them realistic, so we get a bonus for this quarter.

When you are a top performing rep your entire career and have historically earned top tier bonuses for your efforts, it is very deflating to put that same effort into launching XXR and get nothing.

We are dealing with the worst customer databases, poorly designed target lists, gaps in coverage, no top down driven pharmacy stocking initiative (oh yeah, a call center to remind them to order), micromgmt of which iPad pt profile screen to click on, a live speaker program fit only for a pharmacy, no single cogent sales aid, no PS samples for pts, huge gaps with Exalgo and PS coverage, seduced by quoting last years ICP payouts and changing attainment goals to 110% to qualify for a minimum payout (someone on LSD?).

A bundle of $ was spent to assemble and train this sales team. Time to get the above mentioned issues addressed or simply license XXR to another organization and stick to producing and marketing generics. Bring in some marketing talent that has prior experience launching a C2.

You must have consistently been an average to below average rep. When you are use to getting 10k in bonus a quarter it does hurt. In your case getting a nice 2k bonus might be " icing on your cake"
 












Flood gates have opened. Just keep drilling on the supertargets. Took me a while to sink my drill bit deep enough. Now I'm set to cruuuuise into summer. I saw Stacy this weekend at the grocery store and asked about all the PIP rumors. She explained that its a shift to performance culture and that we shouldn't worry if the weaker folks are moved out of the company. She is clearly a brilliant leader and it was super to be able to talk one-on-one. Empathetic, caring, understanding and really really left me charged up for the week !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wahoooooo !!!!!!!!!!!!!
