I have participated in these 'town hall' things with 4 companies in the last 10 years. A new touchy-feely trend, I guess. I have to say, I heard more challenging and 'ballsy' questions in this one than others held by other companies. True.
As to the credibility of our leader, I think she is just fine. She stands up there and takes the challenges. She fast-forwards a needed composite sales piece that we all wanted. She shows us her personal life in a National meeting. What, pray tell, do you want from this person?
Just go out there and do your best to sell the drug. It is, after all, what you're being paid to do. If you don't wanna do that, or it's too hard for you, then either quit or go away, for Christ's sake!
We are paid a pretty good amount to go out there and make it happen, if we can. It isn't easy or everybody could do it. We CAN effect these things. There are methods and procedures that work.
Personally, I love this. I get paid to do something that I enjoin many ways.
