Special Markets Direction

You spoke to your SMD and She said what? Knowing the female SMD's there is only one that is worth anything and I am not sure she is close to any real information. The other one's better be interviewing outside the company because JS got rid of them all when they were primary care RD's and downgraded them to SMD's ( i mean DM's) and I bet he will do it again. The problem is someone forgot to tell them to change their signature on their emails, you are not RD's anymore and as soon as JS finds out half of them have to fly just to get to the territory, bye bye.

Yes I spoke to my SMD and when Jeff Wren left she said to start looking as the party is over... she said SMDs are looking to new div, ocg, and outside the company. Why would Jeff leave if things were soo good? Dont say cause he was mad at MI either he left cause there will be huge changes in feb '11 and many people (families) will be SOL!!!!

hearing exact opposite. Not suprising SMDs wanted over to OCG. Better career opportunities and less likely to be down-sized. Reps - Brovana way ahead of projections and making the company money. These reps may be expensive, but their territtories are huge and still call on hospitals. If medicare coverage doesn't change-not gonna mess with the sales force while it is profitable.

Good call on Brovana Team A$$wipe- Major changes- Now Rita is gone! We are screwed!!!

You are right tough guy... with Duddy, Wren, Lunsford, Smith... whoever gone from sales brovana will do much better! You are a fool... this isnt about JS, its about how the Div: 3 AVPs, 13 SMDs, and 142 SMRs are totally screwed in 2011!!! These people have families and this div is a sinking ship!

Lets get at least one thing straight on these threads. Duddy was an over rated, overweight, legend in his own mind. He did nothing as a manager or in marketing. You have to wonder why is only success he ever talked about was from the one hospital in PA where he knew one doctor. Every product will do better because he is gone. He is a back stabbing closet homo who was forced out because people got tired of his crap and finally figured out he was worthless.

There will be changes to the division because it makes sense but Brovana is not dead because Jeff and Rita left. It will surpass it's goal this year and next year. You cry babies are a bunch of scared little bitches afraid of a challenge. Why don't you go join duddy at a generic clearing house where you think you can discount something instead of sell it. Better yet leave the industry. Brovana group now can get started cleaning house with a couple ASD's and some SMD's. ASD's are trying to lead and motivate by fear and that produces only short term results. Threaten a PIP, send emails with all CAPS, whatever. Try being an innovative leader and bring something new to the table.

I totally agree Duddy was product mgr and Dir of mktg for unsuccessful products like Xopenex, Omnaris, Lunesta, etc! Also SM Div will be much better off without Wren and Lunsford, they didnt work hard for Brovana sales at all! Thisone product Div is in great shape and will def hit the goals for Q4!

been asking that same question for months. If the quotas are based on a set projected earnings goal and that goal was $80,000,000 and we as a sales force broke the $100,000,000 mark, then one would surmise that every sales rep crushed their individual number. Not so much. Same thing happened at the end of Q2. The company was $10,000,000 over mid year sales goal and only 40% of the Brovana team were making their individual goals. It's just wrong. If goals are based on the end of year target like they say, then we all should have been hitting goal. It's a shame. Utilizing fear as a motivational tool is effective in the short term. Yet that fear is fleeting. Be careful upper management. You are sucking the life out of the sales force. Why work your tail off and make the extra call if you never have a shot at hitting your goal and making bonus.

Okay Einstein, and the people who drive the business ae being rewarded for it. I know several people who are making a killing including myself. Go join a union, so you can get paid for sitting on your arse while others drive the business. Anyone with the numbers has been commsioned well, if you are average or less then your IC followed it. $16,000-$18,000 last quarter, not a bad 3 months work. I don't want to give exact numbers in case home office is looking, but I also know some who made less then $5,000. All I know is I had a good year and got rewarded for it, now thi year may be a bit tough coming off 2010.

The Direction Of Respiratory: Hmmm

1. Launched Novartis “Hand-Me Downs” with no long term strategy. And well we know how that movie is going to end.
2. We have LONHOLA! Which the free voucher program worked well...until the pts had to refill it. And hello Yupelri! This should be fun competing against Lincare now!!! Great Job R&D!
3. Brovana has a runway of about 18 months or less before sales efforts cost more then the return, just like Lunesta.

The leadership seems more interested in hiring ex-Mylan folks then fixing this cluster F of a knee jerk reaction culture we have taken on. I seriously don’t know of one person who isn’t proactively looking for an opportunities at this point. It’s very sad how fast this brand has changed in the past 3-4 yrs.
