Special Markets Direction

heard from people at home office and other mgrs that SM is safe for now due to brovana being way ahead of projections. SM may be picking up new hospital drug or absorbed into oncology division when/if we get a drug.

Not happening, if that was the case Duddy and Wren would have stayed. They both Ran from the SM division... look at recent turnover in this division and SMD movement out or to OCG team. Things are not looking good for 2011! BTW- All SMDs are now considered DMs, and thats a fact!

I heard recent trends and numbers for both Xop and Brovana are f$ckin horrible, and the Sunovian peeps up top are going to roll heads! If I were one of the 3 blind fools running this div I would figure itr out asap or we are screwed by Feb '11

You don't work here or you're just stupid. Brovana made its yearly goal mid-Oct. Expecting to finish the year at 120% or better of target for the nation. Latest trends are fckng awesome. SM reps only had responsibility for Xop in hospital, but no longer. Resp - or whatever that division is now called-will sell it in offices until fall 2011.

Sepracor screwed up Xopenex in-patient and out-patient due to continuous outrageous price increases and incompetent contracting.

Brovana is a cash cow since we developed and own it. SM reps are expensive but have huge territories. Q4 next year you may see some huge changes. Not Feb for SM.

Wrong! The brand was supposed to do 100-110M and was promised to Sunovian... projections are changing based on recent trends... Wren saw it coming...WOW!!!

wrong idiot. Brand was to do $80 million in 2010 and is trending toward $100 million. Goal is for $150 million by 2014. quit popping off about things that you know nothing about.

Both are wrong and the Xop hospital mess has been horrible for this div, now the reps are just to sell Brovana and MOST will NOT hit quota in Q4... this is the real truth! When this turns bad many jobs will be lost! Good luck to everyone involved. Looks loke Duddy and Wren were spot on... I am trying to get out but not many jobs in western pa.

Specialty Markets Directors were read the riot act in Marlboro, Q4 not going well for most teams... shine up the UNSUCCESS FACTORS here comes the PIPs, cause they worked so well last time!

I should have known when Jeff Wren left; he really knew this was coming!

Wren left because he knew he would never run the show. Even though he is smarter than Iwicki and knows more than him, Jeff couldn't leapfrog him on the corporate ladder. He'll be CEO at UCB within a couple years.
His departure had nothing to do with Brovana. This drug is exceeding all expectations and continues to be a major revenue stream for Sunovion.
Jeff has higher aspirations and Sunovion couldn't provide the upward mobility he wanted.

Not true, Jeff saw that this Div was in trouble ie. with Xopenex being killed in hospitals (Duddy's departure) and the new joke of a mktig campaign. He proposed that the SM Div expand by 20-40 reps in 2011 and was shot down because it is now an overpaid 1 product division. Get your head out of your arse! Your CEO sold the company to a Japanese firm and rolled... many many many good people to follow prior to RE-ORG in Q1 '11... Jeff leaving had NOTHING to do with Mark... he saw the writting on the wall, he went to UCB idiots!!! Thats just Fuct!!!
