almost all patients have a reduced co pay thanks to Gilead as low as $5. for those without insurance they get their Sovaldi for free. This drug is not priced out of the hands of the majority of patients.

Typical response from the koolaid drinking reps there......a pill that cost $1000 day is priced that high to cover the free drug you'll have to give away to get the business.
 












You don't need to take this drug. Use the older agents if you feel so strongly. See how far that gets you. You might get a SVR for as little as 68K or 150K depending on how you respond to therapy. Sovaldi is not the only option,just the best option.

Difference is cure rates and tolerability. People crying over the price of an amazing cure. I would pay $1 M for a cure for HIV. Big picture folks, this isn't greed, it's research.
