Just heard that reduction in force to be announced July 1st. Anyone not making their number is at risk, regardless how long you have been here. Guess they need less people to sell a new machine we don't have

I heard a similar rumor. I can't say its a huge surprise, when the numbers are down changes are made

Improbable ... Nobody left to cut in a structured RIF. TM's are safe as the training /launch is set for first week in August . The systems will be sent within 3 weeks.
A few problematic CAS will go soon, but that was going to happen anyway.

Well the reality is that this company sucks, and it is now the joke of this industry.
It's sad because it didnt have to be this way. KG and his band of idiots have screwed this up beyond repair.

c) You often come behind your own posts and agree with them to try to add validity to some asanine claim.
d) You are most likely a competitor
e) You are probably getting beat on a regular basis by SonoSite
f) You are definitely not smart and you definitely don't have inside information

Now go away, no one believes any of your crap about the sky falling or layoffs or people getting fired. The Xporte will be the next big thing and it will do well. You probably know this and are scared. Fear is a natural reaction when your livelihood is at stake.

Right, good luck with your sh!tty management team, below industry wages and your florist's van. Sonosite was once on track, but no longer. Along with GE , Mindray is killing it in MSK and will have more hospital market share as fast as you losers decline.

In fact, I think you may be a little neurotic. What happend? Did mommy not breast feed you as a baby? Did you get hired on, only to fail miserably, then get fired? Poor thing, I know what happend, you got your little feelings hurt because the big bad sonosite rep beat you on a deal in your territory.

So keep talking about how bad the management is and how competitors are better than us. It's laughable, we are still having exponential growth unlike the competitors you mentioned.

Doing some research on what's being said about my company, I stumbled across this..I can't work out if this is amusing, sad or should I get angry about it.
If the poster with all the negative comments about SS actually works for us I'd like him to make himself known to me. There aren't many Adams that work for the company.
Just to put this post in a new direction. I have worked for this company for 8 years and have been paid very well. There is a simple formula to being successful in this company. Build solid relationships with the customers by providing good service and commit to education. Also do the small things that your competitors can't be bothered to do and finally respect your customers as they making a positive difference to patients lives with your product.
Our competitors do not stand up to the rigors of POC environment. Here's a story, a GE in one of my EDs recently caught on fire! Now and then a bean counter falls for the real cheap price either GE and Mindray offer, but they always come back to us when that system shits itself in 3 years. The Sparq isn't a bad unit and it fills the need that seems to be out there for a POC system with better Cardiac. But those days are short lived. The buttons are frustrating, slow boot up, the articulating arm isn't going to last long in ED along with their undroppable probes.
Anyone wanting to work for this company...If you have integrity, hard working and will to do the 1%ers that other reps don't do, you will have a long careers at SS.X-Porte is just the tip of the ice berg...
