SoCal insanity







CS makes a huge deal about PC and moving up the rankings list. Hilarious that he has won PC 3 times in the 30 years he says he's been here. Managers have no backbone to stand up to him in any way. Gonna be really interesting to see how new contract team is able to "use the script" - every division seems to be the exact same - have one or two bad eggs, and one perfect rep (who is only perfect BC the manager made them that way). Hopefully one of these sheep will be in charge of some contract people and upper mgmt will finally get a clue about the mess in SoCal. And how about the insane amount of micromanaging that all managers do when they aren't too busy pushing each other aside to brown-nose with CS... Wake up managers, we need a new message to docs, you need new material to "motivate us".... start doing some work!!!
 






I got an idea...demote Sweeney to territory rep --- and give him 3 months he will have a fat LOC to deal with. Oooohh....he is sooo experienced. Let's see him turn around ANY dogshit team with his linear message. Formal warning. Termination. Get it together man - you are supposed to lead....your are serously LAGGING.
 












Specialty exodus? What's going on? Hopefully there is no minimum tenure to be a specialty rep. If there is all these vacancies are going to be hard to fill. Who wants a "promotion"? Anyone?

Why is it that I always see references to "trainers" on this forest board? Are you sheeple that stupid and incompetent that you surmise that a "trainer" at a pharma company is some how relevant or related to success in this job? Is the pecking order and brainwashing that bad at this company? A "trainer" in pharma might be the biggest joke in America. If you need a "trainer" to help you sell a drug, you are a first rate loser and deserve your misery. I would not let a "trainer" within 100 miles of my clients or territory.
 






The SoCal managers are a joke. They are either totally checked out or have no idea how to manage in this industry. All robots of an equally less-able manager, CS. And enough of this stuff about AB - he must be awful with half of his reps quitting or being on probation. He can't manage OR stand up to CS... What a sell out like the rest of them... Maybe if he ran in the half marathons with the other managers and kiss ass reps, CS might respect him (for whatever that's worth).
 












What does CS do all day other than surf and train for marathons? The RD position is as good as it gets to get paid to do absolutely nothing. Clearly CS isn't getting LOW's for his subpar performances over the years... Or maybe last year's PC just saved his job. What a sad excuse for a leader when his value can't be seen.
 






How did this happen? We used to be proud to be part of this region. Now it's a joke. There is no pride, no culture, no sense of belonging. Nobody knows who anybody is anymore, it's sad.

I truly believe that CS, Amanda, Hugill, not andrea(she's cool) should be replaced by the contract people that Forest will be hiring soon.

Seriously? A.S. is cool? You obviously have never worked for her. She is an awful, evil, heartless b*tch. Or maybe you have worked for her and are a supreme ass-kisser so she likes you, since that's how AS evaluates which reps are "good" and how "nice" to be.

Occupy protest! Funny and yes, AS is about as NOT cool as they get. Actually the second LEAST cool after PV. Doubt she has ever been called cool in her lifetime.
 












CS has officially lost it! All of the saltwater has gone to his head. This "go big or go home" club? Ask your 3 value rating docs for 100 viibryd an 40 DL. Everyday voicemails... This place feels like prison with his everyday "role calls". Now he calling out individual people in these things too. What a disgrace SoCal has become. Managers are practically begging us to leave fake success stories about "going big". It's the last 2 weeks of the sales year and these morons think the best way to "manage" is to flood our inboxes with fake success stories, STUPID metaphors ("a closed mouth never got fed"), and orders to leave more voicemails. Like we have nothing better to do. SoCal is a sad story... Forest needs to clean house
 






It's crazy and frustrating! There is no end or homestretch in this job. The constant pressure and administrative responsibilities are overwhelming! It's always something, it's never enough, it never ends. The daily voicemails are a reminder that your boss and his boss think you're an idiot, adding to the stress, desperation, and fear. The evaluations are subjective, the territories are NOT equal and the reps at the top are put on a pedestal (if they are liked by mgmnt) and everyone else has to suffer through the bs success stories and God forbid we question the prescription reporting, "big horses", or managed care coverage. These reps that are going big have no problems with cost or coverage.
Let's take out the numbers from the speakers and docs who will write for a rep that carries their jockstrap and cater to them and see how these geniuses stack up. Hmmm.... We should CALL them for advice on how to go big? Really? What magic bullet are they going to tell us? These docs are not all the same, there is no magic message.
 






Chris has become a joke. He does not practice what he preaches. He talks about delivering business results and you will be promoted. Really? Then why do you promote people who have no sales results? Why do you prop up people on your voice mails who are in the bottom 50% and pick on or don't recognize people who are doing well?
Another thing he does is act like his tenured reps. are worthless and new green reps. are moving the market share. The new reps. can be good, but how is someone who cannot even analyze the business and leverage relationships be better? It's a joke.
Until guys like Pete and Chad quit with the stand up deep throat BJs on him he is never going to stop. They feed the fire and give him amo.to come up with crap like go big or go home.
Get off your high horse and show some respect to the people who have gotten you to presidents club and have been consistent producers, not your favorite reps. who have no results. Another thing give it a rest with the Newport Beach territory, you could put Wade Harwick in there and it would deliver!
 






AB says, "it's not the go big or go home club... It's the go big and bring it home club." AB is a cliché machine! That guy has a bright future in the CS system. Nevermind being able to manage, or hire well, as long as you can come up with a cheesy saying, you've got job security at this joint. This region is a joke... Go throw a few more reps on probation AB, you've earned it.

SO true, any dumbass could be at the top in Newport! GIVE UP trying to sell us on some magic crap formula and going big...we and the targets are human beings! It doesn't work this way fool! Listen up....this is what the poa should be...
1. Does the doc write branded meds in the same class or disease state?
2. What makes a branded med worth the higher copayment to this target?
3. If not, why don't they think some meds are worth higher copayment? Whynisit all about cost? Do you really think the generic you ate prescribing is the best choice for your patient?
4. Here is why "blank" medication is worth a higher copayment or the time and effort of a prior authorization.
5. This is what is in it for you and the patient....
6. Yeah, we are in sales. Close, close close,close in the way that's most appropriate for the doc.
