Have any of you pathetic, desperate sad clowns ever considered getting another job? Wouldn't that be far more satisfying then constantly on here sniveling for info and rumors of when the contract ends? They all end, usually much sooner then they say. This company doesn't give two shits about you. They don't even make a real secret about that fact. From the recruiters to the managers to HR to the client, they simply do not care about you, period. You are just a warm body needed for a short time when that time is up you get tossed aside like the garbage they see you as.
Do something for yourself. There really are real stable jobs out there.
That's one way to look at it. Another way would be to see any job as an opportunity to apply your skills and talent to accomplish an objective. There isn't an employee or business that is not vulnerable these days, so job security with any company is a fantasy. The best thing you can do for yourself is to do the best you can at whatever you do, keep your skills sharp, keep learning and find something constructive and rewarding to do. The difference between this company and some others is that future opportunities to put people to work are earned in large part by the performance of current employees. As for not "caring" about employees, I have seen strong evidence to the contrary on many, many occasions.
