So many Oncology jobs, it feels like the old days!!

The funniest part of this post is this guy think Pharma sales in acually a career and has a future.

BTW "reach" to physicians only means there are so damn many of you Nov Onc reps that you ultimately have to "reach" every Onc out there or else you would be seeing the same 5 docs every 3 days. "Reach" does not = success alone. These posts just keep getting dumber and dumber.
 






Final interview today!! 15K Signing bonus, 1 yr guarantee salary, 1 yr salary and bonus if company bought out and stock vested (400K), and 30K increase in base salary, yeah! Onc 3 out!! Heading out to buy a Benz with my 1000K/mo car allowance!!
 






But if you go out and buy a new Benz, in 2 yrs it'll have lost around 30-40% of it's value (if you drive the avg of pharma) and you're gains in sign on bonus are lost, not to mention the higher costs for manintaince and insurance on those cars.

I would by a BMW or Infinity. They hold value better and are fun to drive. MB is also a good car and i owned 3 of them but last on was a lemon.

Never had a problem with 3 BMWs or 2 Infinitis

Seattle Genetics, but you can get the same offer with Genentech or Celgene too!! I interviewed with all of them, but know the manager at SG from a prior position and he is really hooking me up!! Definitely get a guarantee, signing bonus, and options, or it will not be worth it and they will give it to you if you ask!! You are sales people so go get what you want!! They all love Novartis Onc reps right now due to the #1 reach and frequency ranking in Oncology and that is what they need to launch a product!! Good luck out there and hope to see you all in my training class in April/May!! Take care!!!

Make sure you know why you want to go there. Knowing you want to leave is fine but if you don't know why you want to go to the new company you'll make major mistakes. LOTS of wrong information posted here.

Stop hating because you are not getting any calls!! I have a top #1 territory, multiple award winner, and I get into accounts that no other company can get to, and all the recruiters know this!! My resume looks like it should be in a 14K Gold Frame baby!! I am taking this party straight to the bank. Remember, haters are confused admirers, so keep hating out there!! My new 7 series Benz is sick too!! Have fun in your Fusion! Ha! Ha!
