What a douche... Of course i asked docs and nurses that had nothing to do with me in different offices..
??? Is there a translator in the house? No wonder you can't sell. You can't even construct a sentence or convey a complete thought.

I don't have a dog in this fight but that reads pretty straight forward to me. You disputed that the person asked offices they were familiar with and they clearly wrote they did not. Maybe you should up your comprehension skills. Dope!

LOL! Oh, I think you do have a dog in this fight.

>>>Of course i asked docs and nurses that had nothing to do with me in different offices..<<<

This is the syntax of an 8th grader.

And by the way, my response had nothing to do with a dispute over whether he/she asked offices she was familiar with – as you said. It was a reference to his (or her) charming personality. Looks like you have the reading comprehension issue.

"He/she asked offices "SHE" was familiar with" - oh, the irony of someone trying to be a grammar nazi! Lol

Why don't you comment on the subject matter rather then being an "8th grader" yourself

Dude - this is a freaking blog, there are no pultizer prize candidates here. Get a life, loser!

Um, pretty sure you called out their writing - you asked for a translator, stated the person couldn't contruct a sentence or convey a complete thought. Pretty sure none of that references one's charming personality, as you so eloquently put it. What you referenced is directly tied to comprehension and grammar. You my friend, belong at labcorp! Corporate drone loser with an IQ of a gnat.

Good writing involves mixing pronouns to avoid overuse. This is especially true when the sex of the subject is unknown. When “he/she” is already used in a sentence, either he or she should be stated to avoid overuse. Since the sex of this person is not known, all three (including “he”) can be used. And yes, I learned this in 8th grade.

Sigh. It’s Pulitzer. Not surprised you didn’t know that. And this is not a blog, dude. Not surprised here either.

>>>Um, pretty sure you called out their writing - you asked for a translator, stated the person couldn't contruct a sentence or convey a complete thought.<<<

True. The response was barely comprehensible. I could only guess that the word mess, “Of course i asked docs and nurses that had nothing to do with me in different offices” must mean that doctors and nurses (that had nothing to do with me) wanted nothing to do with her. Especially, for some reason, because she’s asking them about a lab service which she’s no longer sells – and she got this cold response (in different offices) from more than one office. Yes, I’m being snarky.

Oh boy. Dumb people are exhausting. Did you and your Einstein friend form a joint venture here with the hope of one brain? Context is important on forums like this. You really need to keep up with the thread.

Your pen pal stated that after she left the company, she asked physicians and nurses what they thought about Labcorp’s service. Really? This is either a lie or she really needs to get on with her life and let go of the fact that she couldn’t make her numbers. I then said, you probably got that a lot while selling for them. Meaning, they told her that in order to get her (the annoying, ahem, charming one) out of their office. Why is this so difficult for you? Try not to move your lips when you read.

Dumb people are exhausting.

When people leave Labcorp as a sales rep, typically they are working for another lab or some other sector in health care sales. Likely, the person overheard the nurses or physician complaining about labcorp while there and asked them what they thought. Just a hunch, but who cares what the reasoning was. If the answers were mainly negative towards Labcorp, what does that tell you? Do you work for labcorp? If so, do you think Labcorp's service is poor and they are cheap? I do. Labcorp has great testing capability and there are SOME great people employed here but they definitley fall short in the service department and they are totally cheap, as this comp plan is horrendous. You say dumb people are exhausting. Well, you must be pretty tired because Labcorp is filled with uneducated people. I am currently an SME and many of my fellow sales reps only have only high school diplomas. This would never fly in most health care sales positions, outside of Labcorp.

Spreadsheets galore! I'm so sick and tired of all this BS. Our Sales Officer is the worst!

Paralysis by analysis, at it's finest! If Labcorp was a real company and an actual industry leader they would have a specialized sales ops department. They would have individuals well versed in data analytics that would be able to scrub and filter the data and deliver the important things to sales reps, that actually drives business! Instead, we get a mix mash of unfiltered data and to be honest, it is mostly unimportant to what we need to drive business. Such a dated company who still thinks it's the 1980's.... saw somewhere recently that a 19 year old pot head hacker hacked the head of the cia's AOL account. Two things that resemble labcorp here. Our sales officers probably still have an AOL account and the younger reps probably now more about IT capabilities then our jagoff sales leaders. What a joke!

You're right about their lack of data analytics. Big data, predictive information is going to be the driver of the next phase in this sector.

I don't work for Labcorp, but can't let go of my Favorite Places on my AOL account. C'mon people. Are some of you with me here?

Still enjoying those 1000 free hours I see..

You're funny. In our division 2 of our top performers did not finish college. (SME's) I have met a lot of highly educated people who are dumb. A college degree does not guarantee that you are smart.

Good story, bro. Tell that to the thousands of medical sales recruiters and employers who look at a resume and don't see a degree and keep going to the next resume. Labcorp is a joke dude, it is amateur hour all over the place. BTW, there are two types of smart - educated and street smart. The most successful people have both. Labcorp doesn't pay and works people to the bone so it is no surprise people don't have degrees here, while most other medical companies require it. It is the best the person can do! Pretty obvious
