Smart Pharmacy

The people on here commenting about indictments and fraud must have been part of the Medimix clan that got shut down. These 'indictments' would be public record if true, obviously they are not.

Theres thousands of compounding pharmacies in the country, the rules in place were not made to handle companies of this size, there is a lot of fraud in the industry. Most of them get shut down, i.e. Lifecare, Medimix. They were straight up paying Doctors millions to write scripts, if SP was doing this they would be shut down.

An indictment is generally sealed from the public because (1) the investigation is on-going or (2) prosecutors want to protect the identities of certain people involved.

The reason Medimix got in trouble... The VP of the company's husband was referring business to her pharmacy, equating to an improper referral source. Same thing Greg and his wife were doing.

What you said about MediMix is the exact same thing I heard.

The funny thing is that I am acquainted with Greg's wife. She is a nurse by trade so that is a possibility. Then again, I never figured her to be that type.

I've heard from many people that Smart Pharmacy is extremely shady, both from former employees and other pharmacy professionals in the area. I've also heard they have lost several contracts and there are doctors out there who won't go near Smart Pharmacy. They're about to get a competitor in this market so we'll see if they can withstand that.

I have already prepared a gift basket for Greedy Greg's new cell mate. It will include a 5 gallon bucket of lube and a pineapple. The lube will be sent a week after the pineapple. He truly is one of the worst human beings around. Along with 15k scripts for pain cream with morphine, he would jack the cash price up for OxyContin to sell to every junkie in the southeast US. Classy guy. And he will blame anything illegal on Bumbling Bill. Just watch!!!

Hahaha! I love being a rep here. It's the easiest job I've ever had.

I personally could care less about smart pharmacy waiving copays. Or just sending out meds, whether the patient wants it or not. It all equates to more money in my pocket. I can't get in trouble for any of it, so who the hell cares? Plus, say what you want, but I know Bill and Greg can handle any legal issues thrown their way. Money solves all problems, and we have plenty of that! That's why we're one of the last ones standing. Have we lost some contracts....sure. But we'll always find another plan to bill. I'm killing it with workers comp and Medicare at the moment. So say what you'd like about us. Haters gonna hate. But I think it's funny. You're getting mad, and I'm getting rich!!!

Everyone who could find another job in medical sales has left this place. The only reps/managers still there are the ones who don't have any other options. Most doctors are onto smart pharmacys business practices, and won't associate with them. The company is trying to bleed what they can from workers comp, auto accidents, etc. at the moment, before those plans catch on.

These guys are class acts all the way....not. They billed to the "enth degree" possible, which was permissible under the contract and express-scripts didnt give two shits about it. Express-scripts was just as greedy as the pharmacies. Only when they were running out of money did they realize that the system was faulty and they ended up slowing pain and scar to stop the bleeding. Co-pay was a joke to many and ironically, that was one of the key factors to audit and claw-backs of every nickel, while canceling the contracts. This pharmacy is now backing itself into a corner, trying to throw "everyone" under the bus, blaming everyone else, as the long arm of the law is tightening the noose. Money in this case isn't going to help them. If they broke the law, unlike Hillary, they will get what's coming to them.

The above poster is spot on, copays NEVER existed at smart pharmacy. Combine that with all of the doctors they took care of in Vegas and this house of cards will come tumbling down. Those Vegas trips were legendary!
