Skin cancer...it's a bad division
Given that this is an anonymous message board and there's no proof that any of the people who have posted actually work for the company, your tirade demonstrates a level of immaturity that makes you unqualified for a professional position and your lack of initiative to research legitimate sources is evidence of your laziness. You probably should not apply. Just keeping it real.
Really? Since we're "keeping it real" I'd hate to have you on my team or as a new hire. You may or may not already work for Genentech, but you'd never make it onto my team with that type of a better-than-thou attitude. This is an example of the Genentech culture? If you were ever assigned to a team leader position no one would buy into your ideas because your arrogance would get in the way. Karma really can come back to bite you, your day will come. It's probably already happened to you, but you just don't know it.
I sense jealousy or arrogance on your part......don't bother applying here, we don't need your GSK like view.
I'm not GSK, and not interested in joining a culture like Genentech if it is anything like the posts here. Disappointing to see such immaturity.

There is no such thing as Karma, people make their own destiny by the choices they make and the actions they take. You can't control what the world brings you each day, but you can control how you respond to it and what you make of it.
People who show a lack of initiative and critical thinking like the poster reacting to flippant comments from supposed employees are the same type of people who take no accountability for their actions or mistakes. Is that the type of person you want to work with? You can have 'em. Personally I expect more from myself and my colleagues. Not arrogance sport, it's called pursuit of excellence.
You seem to have some underlying anger issues, might I suggest you consult with a mental health professional.
Don't like it much when someone talks back to you, do you? You went straight to the "mental illness" card. Get lost, weakling....
Just trying to help you. Anyone who lashes out at people they don't know or don't know anything about and expresses themselves through name-calling and hoping that someone else experiences bad "karma" certainly has issues. Of course until you're willing to admit there's a problem, no one can help you. It's ok to admit you need help and it's the first step getting healthy.
