Silverado Hospice- So Cal

what a train wreck this place is. just heard we lost another quality person. PL was such a nice person who was great to work with. she actually treated you with respect and was very professional. oh thats right, silverado doesnt want those types of employees. hope your taking note loren and steve....until you get rid of the idiots who are running the show, you will continue to see the stars leave.....

Heard the wicked witch of the 80's ran another sales rep out of the L.A hospice office. Amazing how all these people have left, complaining of her horrible management skills and toxic enviornment, but team RP's do nothing about it. Typical Silverado management...protect your own and when someone cant be micro-managed or shows initiative.....fire them or force them out. We need to get rid of our hospice management team and bring in people who know how to manage. Its obviuos with our low morale and crappy census numbers we need to clean house!!! PLEASE!!!

Used to work in that office, horrible enviornment. L.A is so paranoid about trust issues, she will stab you in the back and get rid of you in a heart beat. Very insecure and uses her position to try and intimadate her employees. The worst manager I have ever worked with. Glad I am no longer with Silverado, best move I ever made leaving that company.

Absolutely the worst employment experience of my life. I worked in the hospice division. Clueless people leading the Los Angeles Hospice office. Micromanagers and cheap. Provided awful service in a field that demands the best. I cant speak for the other service lines within this company but huge consistent turnover speaks for itself.

RP is an egotistical asshole and the world would be a better place without him. Most of his practices are deemed unethical and even illegal. Let's all hope that he'll get what's coming to him one day. Once I left this company and this idiot's management style, life has been WAY better for myself and for my family. F*ck this guy and this company's unethical treatment of employees.

Cant understand how he is still there! Nobody likes him, he is not to be trusted and is a slick talking schmuck! He fires people to feed his huge ego. Karma will catch up to him, just like it did to RP, thank god that train wreck is gone!

This company makes terrible decisions and has hired managers who dont care about the people who work there or the patients they serve. The hospice division is a joke and should be shut down as the patient care borders neglect. Especially in the LA office. I am sure if it wasn't for LA servicing RP, she would have been fired long ago. I guess she is good at something, managing people is not one of them!!

Oh ya sure, reply with my resume so you can fire me! Do you really think I am that stupid. When I find another job and resign, you will get the bird from me and nothing more! This place sucks!

I feel for all the posters here. I wish I can help of you out of that company. I only have three offices in So Cal but still growing. I don't know how to recruit or if it would be proper via this site...

My company is truly ran by passion and the passion to serve our patients as well as our staff. It is very hard at times, since we are all flawed, to recognize the "little" things we do for each other but we try to acknowledge those traits in each one...

Hospice Liaison/ Outside Sales Reps. How is this position? Is the compensation worth the work? Any information would be appreciated as I am thinking of pursuing the position. Thanks in advance.

Anyone previous or current reps? I'm basically wondering the same thing as this previous poster. I just want to know how the job is, any details would suffice. I'm thinking of going into Home Health sales, just don't know if Hospice is the right choice.
