So Boston manufactures it...perhaps you can use the experience gained from this and start making your own active fixation brady leads.
 






You know your hurting when the major comeback on here is about our Brady lead. Something tells me you'd rather sell somebody else's Brady lead to have this technology. Who cares about a Brady lead. You guys must have fun at your national sales meeting talking nothing but Brady leads. Good times!!!

BIO better focus on their brady lead rather than their externalized HV leads.

Not focused on our brady leads...and by our...I mean the ones that we manufacture for you and I...along with your SICD lead, and your analyzer...you pay my salary. I am not upset with you...and by all means, your patients deserve to have confidence in some part of their system, even if it is only the lowly P/S lead. I have sold with the Big 3. I have sold with BIO. No shame in my game.

This thread is quite entertaining. That said all the bantering aside once you implant or are involved in an implant of the SICD it becomes quite clear how amazing this technology is. The fact that BSC is years ahead of the competirion should scare the hell out if them. Seriously this thing is legit. That's a fact Jack.

Oh my, this is so funny! Look how many brady devices that are still on TTM's! Financial loss to the clinic, not to mention the inability to follow a BSC patient proficiently due to lack of ability to extract anything other than a magnet rate. Imagine the strokes that are happening right now because that patient's arrhythmia wasn't detected in between clinic visits! Years ahead in technology? I doubt it. I refuse that any reputable cardiologist or Electrophysiologist would implant this in their patient unless their is a financial gain for them personally. BSC SICD should be called the Titanic of ICD's.

Every day this thing gains acceptance as new physicians are trained and begin to implant. The fact all training is full and it's nearly impossible to get slots lets me know your docs want it and will be using it. It's pointless to argue with it. Every doc I talk to after seeing this agree this is the future. It's nice to do an SICD and then the doc extracts a failed lead the next case. Just reinforces SICD.

Do the docs in training receive any type of compensation from BSC? Just wandering.
