We should be very aggressive here. Easy to mock Salix since we compete in the 5-ASA space and have destroyed them. That said, Apriso makes up a tiny fraction of their business and their pipeline blows ours out of the water. Their antibiotic alone makes this a no-brainier. Solidifies our position in GI. Lialda goes generic soon- what then?

Salix is too reliant on xiafaxan. Going forward I see strong headwinds from hcv oral therapys plus i do not see pcp's and Im's writing it for Ibs D (not gonna happen).

Or more likely Salix leaked both articles trying to get a higher price. You can't trust anything that company says- they already had the CEO and CFO get fired for false financials. They will be had on the cheap no one is going overpay for them.

Do a little reading. There were no 'faked' financials. No past restatements occurred. You simply spouted off what the initial 'drive by' articles stated. Abnormally high wholesaler inventory was the only issue.
