Question for the person who is uniformly trashing sales and siding with senior management:

Where is the data?

Why don't we see the practitioner-level A.I.C. data? They had a 12-month delay and eight months since launch to figure this out, and they don't even mention it, let alone fix it.

Do you think that impacts motivation? Not having any fucking idea how many syringes your practitioners have really ordered? We know that over 60%+ of sales are through A.I.C.'s, yet they still won't tell us who has ordered what (and how many).

Would you like that? Would you respond to it? Would it motivate you? Wouldn't you want to know how much money you really made (not every territory is underwater)?

Until they get that properly ironed-out and provide the field with accurate reporting you can count on a half-assed effort, and be grateful you're getting that much.

Person is a twit. No need trying to rationalize with a twit.

NVS has been in CV for years. Who thought Cardiologists (not Lipidologists) take the time for a buy & bill for 2nd line cholesterol???? NVS downsized alum here- thought there was a’novel’ launch plan?
Too bad they let newbies make basic mistakes and let people with therapeutic sales and mktg experience go….

That’s part of the problem - everyone hired for the access piece came from genetech where they have a significant amount of experience with buy and bill. But that’s with other therapeutic areas which aren’t the same. Biggest mistake came with strategy - buy and bill only, trying to force cardiologists to buy a drug that’s administered twice per year, and wanted their limited staff to take the time to learn a very complex process. Nobody, nobody will admit this is the issue

Spot on! Anybody with B&B experience knew this would be a disaster. It is scary to know that there are a bunch of simpletons running this company. As mentioned on a previous post, they are nothing but a bunch of Big Pharma rejects!!!!

So what we need is a small talented team of individuals to come up with a way to streamline the process. That shouldn’t be too hard, should it? We’re a multinational big pharma company. Surely we can attract the talent to do this, right?

Should get like a sales force or something to develop the market. A few companies have done this in the past.

Saies takes the most crap in crm & gets all the blame for everything.

A hard truth upper level management will never acknowledge: a majority of the people who were supposed to be preparing us for a smooth product launch didn’t do anything during the extra year.

I’m looking at you ISET teams and adsocs.

this franchise got too big too fast - and all the extra bureaucracy gives way to even more ambiguity in job roles and accountability.

Could not agree more. Working from home = not working.
