Saturday Travel for Eye Care BU

HR has analyzed and mulled over the above post and believes it is a hoax. It's tone appears to be that originated by one of our competitors OR a rogue unethical Troll. We currently have investigators checking confidential sources. Indeed those who post this kind of 'trash talk' on our threads do so for the purpose of generating hate and discontent. Do not be surprised if a follow up caustic and abrasive post is made. Do not be mislead by these disturbed culprits. They will ultimately be rounded up.
You're an idiot.

oh my gosh! What a bunch of whinnying little bitches. Put your adult diapers on. Yes you have to leave on a Sat., boo hoo...but you get a ck direct deposited every other week, company car, plus benefits and a nice 491k. And so what if KK wants to cut cost, isn't that kinda her job to work on a budget. If you don't like it, leave! I hear Valeant has a lot of openings.
Amen to the truth!!!!

To protect the financial support of my family - - - I will work everyday of the week. Nothing is more important than my wife and three kids! So whine all you want!! I will have a well paying job!!

You are both, noble and naive. Here's the reality of other Pharma companies:

1. 10-15% more on your base
2. Goal attainments tied to realistic expectations where true performance is rewarded
3. Stretch goals that are paid out on and not recinded after the fact by the VP
4. Cars that get nicer, not worse as you get promoted
5. Not constantly micromanaged by the top
6. Having my opinion matter and not told "shut up and be thankful for your job"
7. Attend meetings where they let employees have free time after hard work
8. Stock awards at the rep level
9. Have a real pipeline of future products
10. Be recognized in biz journals as one of the best places to work
11. Have a CEO who is respected

Imagine, all of this and NOT have to travel on Saturday or work on Sunday.

Aim higher Sporto, you may impress yourself.

Exactly! Those companies are out there and I will keep looking until I get there. This company is not one of them. Especially since I feel like we've already been patronized, treated, and talked to like we are children by KK.

Sporto: Why are you still at Shire? Let's be real here, pharma sales is going extinct like the dinosaur. My goal is to get out of sales and join marketing HQ. I guess we won't see you at the NSM since you are definitely not a top performer.

Stay with me here Sporto--- How do you think I rattled all those differences off? I left skid marks at Shire after seeing our leaders in action. Losers are coming to this 2nd rate shell of a company. I'm just cruising by checking out the accident scene and felt the need to try and "save" a few of you. Empower yourselves and go out looking. You can all do much better. Just look at the caliber KK has brought in and over to Opthamology??? Kiss asses who are too stupid to know they are being used.

Nice pipe dream-
Your perfect world is rare (if it exists at all anymore) In most instances it's give some here, take some there.
There will almost always be something to complain about or that is better over "there"...
I don't like it - but for what we get paid I can deal with working over a weekend every now and then..

Anyone coming here is no doubt aware of the issues with leadership. The negative commentary on KK and PS has gone on literally for years, may be the most consistent negative thread on CP, and their legal issues are well documented and undeniable. But unless folks vote with their feet and leave, there is nothing to do but enjoy the pay check, do our jobs with as little effort as possible, and keep looking for better opportunities. I do think KK and PS read CP religiously, and the truth of the negative comments is shown by the lone, idiotic poster who defends them all the time with adolescent responses.

Yeah spot on post! We need to rid this board of the one lone troll who constantly posts defending morons, so our Shire family can all get back to selling important products that save lives!

How's that for dose of their own (sarcastic) medicine?

No, not bad, but 2.33 with a only a 3% match. Most company matches are .50 for a 6% and up, so only a .33 better.
Quick math lesson for you. You put in 6%. With a 2.33 match on the first 3%(additional 7%) = total of 13%

Next up, you put in 6% with your other company. With a .50 for the first 6% = total of 9%

Shire's 401k match is actually one of the better ones in the industry.

No dream. I'm living it.

Trust me, the word on Shire's downfall is well known. People know others are trying to get out. But if you wait too long you will be forever stuck with these losers. Get out and watch Shire implode from within with all of their "talent"
