Salary Security vs Commission....
To say you love your salary, benefits, and bonus is one thing but if you were paid for your efforts by the number of scripts you generated how motivated would you be? Calculate the number of scripts in your territory by your income and see what that dollar amount is per script as an employee. Then calculate the same amount of scripts and multiply it by $200 per script and see what the numbers look like. Start off with 1 RX a Day..if you cannot generate that then find a new job! Play with the numbers and what you are currently doing and see if commission is for you. Is 50 monthly Rx's realistic for a territory? Do the math. Is 100 Rx's monthly realistic for a territory? Do the math. Is 200 Rx's monthly realistic for a territory? Do the math. Is 500 Rx's monthly realistic for a territory?
