Sage Therapeutics

ibwas recruited heavily to join their Reimbursement team. I declined moving forward as I saw this as another build your company with untested vision and unhappy employees from the big 6.

Reimbursement will be extremely challenging. Good luck

I was contracted by the hiring manager for a therapeutic specialist/key acct hybrid job via LinkedIn of all things, saying something about a recruiter having a hard time reaching me and not ever hearing back from me....???? Well, was never contacted by a recruiter about Sage or anything related to a job I applied for two Months ago.....which was a Key Acct position.

But after some back and forth, I spent over an hour on the phone with the hiring manager whom seems like a stand up guy. He send me a link to Sage benefits to look over and wanted me to dive deeper into info about the company and product and now we are meeting face to face tomorrow for a formal interview.

My guess is he got tired of Taylor’s Shenanigans and started taking recruiting for his team into his own hands. Culture of Sage looks too good to be true for Pharma nowadays. Current employees use words like “innovative” and “takes care of their people”. I asked the Manager if he felt there were resources above and beyond what a typically Pharma would provide to help customers and would a Specialist be able to work their accounts as needed to bring value to separate themselves from the typical Pharma Rep......

Drug seems legit. Have to figure out delivery method and payor issues....but this is not for the weary. This is not for typical Pharma Rep whom runs around and drops crap off, gets a signature then scrambles, doesn’t want to do lunches, doesn’t want to get up at 5am to leave to drive to a breakfast far into their territory. These territories are pretty big.

This is for someone with high clinical knowledge and excellent selling skills. Who isn’t afraid to dig deep and work hard. Who truly want to bring value to what they are doing and partner with their accounts. I have No idea on compensation or anything. If anyone has a clue let me know. Hopefully will find out more tomorrow.

Hmmmm....it looks like this gasbag peaked early

May be hard in the beginning but should be smooth sailing after. Sage 217 should be the blockbuster. It’s been a long long time since anything new has launched in this space.

Good luck, in this industry management can make or brake a launch, and Sage management sucks! They can all shake their pompoms and say they have a phenomenal culture but it’s all for show! A bulk of their management team are big Pharma retreads with very little to no experience in CNS or women’s health, and in the West a significant amount of management has been dealing with payers not end users! Sage 217 will be a blockbuster, but good luck with the infused product and dealing with the management hacks in the process!

So sorry you were not selected. We wish you the best in your next job search. In the meantime pick up a book on emotional intelligence. It might help you present yourself better

agreed. If you know people in the industry by experience ect..., you will find that a number of the RBD and AD's are from the scrap heap of Big Pharma previous job fails. Nothing new here. Will still be micromanagement, calls per day, live in the target HVP guest house kind of mentality. Do some research on the RBD and AD' s ... you'll see what I'm talking about.

Bingo! Our culture is great welcome to Big Pharma 8 calls today and this is your message in a can. Don’t forget to take your iPad with you.

Not sure if you’re the same person but again lay off the meth. You must be a Sudafed sales person judging by your immature comments. I can only guess your either a lazy rep that got fired because you didn’t make your simple calls and you were denied an interview. Either way you lose. Maybe Sage 217 can help.
