I agree with this. Arrogant approach will no doubt result in a big crash.
Wanna bet?

Sage facts:
1. Hired the rah rah RBD and DBM “leaders” from Novo who got canned when Gilot got dumped.
2. Hired a bunch of reps knowing the new drug is delayed due to no therapeutic advantage but much higher cost/challenge in this market.
3. Will compete against generic Zoloft and other SSRIs which work effectively.
Novo is not the fun place it once was but I like it better here than there and did consider it for a minute.
Generic Zoloft is great for PPD and has a track record. Cheap too

Generic Zoloft is pennies per dollar. It works and will be used before an expensive and unproven infusion. Insurance companies control the game.
I can't understand how I didn't get even a screening call from a recruiter. I might suck but not on paper.
Dynamite insight, thanks for the hot take. Just because insurance companies are going to push for generic alternatives doesn’t mean they work, or are even all that effective. there are new ssri’s that continue coming to market. Just because there’s something that helps some doesn’t mean there isn’t room for innovation champ.
Champ, not really innovative for Sage unless innovation means mind boggling expensive. Um, Zoloft works per NIH. Good luck with insurance.

There is no cure for depression yet. Only treatments to help with symptoms. Sage products do not cure depression. Your point is moot.I missed the memo that said PPD was cured. My mistake.
I heard that sage is actually good for treating depression. You can find it on the spice isle at your local grocery mart. There is no cure for depression yet. Only treatments to help with symptoms. Sage products do not cure depression. Your point is moot.
There are people that were hired that didn’t get a call from a recruiter. They were hand picked. And no, I’m not disgruntled. I was offered a position and decided after looking at the whole picture that Sage wasn’t for me. I got offered a great opportunity by another company that was a better fit and the manager saw my value. Now I’m making more money with the company I decided to go with, in a position that aligns with my experience and I look forward to the start date with my new company.
If you do your homework and research the company you will be able to make an informed decision and will actually run to the recruiter rather than the hills Check out the pipeline etc and you will see what a great opportunity Sage is
Run for the hills!
Research is wrong. 2.5 days, and can be done with an outpatient infusion pump. If you don't understand that, you're already out of your league on this one.
