i disagree.
if you drive 2200 miles a month assume a cost of $240 if gas is $2 and your get 22 mpg. runz pays you about 20 cents a mile for gas or a variable runz reimbursement of another $440. I will assume about $600 a month for the mid range runz fixed monthly payment and with the variable you are at $1040 a month.
So your monthly expenses are $600(i raised yours $100 to be more accurate) car payment, $200 gas, $125 insurance (that is real high)and $60 (cost of replacing all four tires and brakes one time and all the oil fluids and car washes you want $60 over 48 months is 3 k).
Monthly costs are $985 and runz pays you $1040 ($600 fixed/440 variable ie gas). So a positive monthly difference of $55 or $2640 over 4 years. 55X 48 months
Plus in 4 years you sell the car for approx 12k and you dont pay $2400 annually pre tax to mnk for personal miles
Therefore, you just made 12 k +2.4k + 8 k or 22k after tax in 4 years. Its like magic and in four years you just paid cash for your next car. Of course, this requires you acknowledge the cash inflow and save it each month.
Keep in mind you wont get the 5 k next time so reality is more like 7k on the car plus the 8k you dont pay the company out of your pay check each month over 4 years if they owned it and of course the $2640
