The ZB booth was packed. And most of the buzz was bout Rosa. I walked down towards the SN and Depuy booth and it was prob 1/4 the buzz and people. Throwing out back door deals is what we hear.

Persona Revision, Rosa, new hips/shoulders, MyMobility and everything else ZB has in the pipe you can see why. I do believe this company is really going to be a bigger force in the next year...and I work for Stryker. Just happy my biggest account has a MAKO.

Don't worry, Persona Revision and Rosa disposables will back-order. If it's not one product line its another.
 












Rosa doesnt compete w Mako...it does even compete w Navio. Tried to retrofit a brain platform to joints. It will not be a game changer, 2nd to market never wins unless it truly ups the ability and is superior to the marker setter....this does not.

Completely disagree.....Rosa is a great hybrid of CAS/PSI and robotics. Docs like using their own saw and the fact that it is a much quicker procedure than Mako. No scans needed (denials are rampant for Stryker) and a PLAIN FILM gets it done. Keep thinking nobody is interested.

Shockingly, this zimmer biomet rep thinks rosa is great. I personally am shocked. Adding $1,000,000 plus to get a robot then wheeling a gigantic tv cart into the OR like watching a movie in 4th grade social studies in 1991 isn’t exactly cutting edge. Joints are going to the outpatient settinf and simultaneously robots/technology gets smaller and smaller and cheaper and cheaper. Meanwhile zb and stryker are adding costs with monster robots that won’t even physically fit into most surgery centers. Keep believing in your megatron-size robots that add thousands to millions of unnecessary dollars to tka/tha and ride that wave all the way to the bottom.

Luckily ZB also has many other navigation technologies that take up no additional room, are low cost and can be used by conventional X ray with no CT/MRI scans. iAssist and X ray based custom blocks are readily available. Your move...
