RM here

Dear folks, (currently employed here or seeking)...
RUN! Run away and do it soon.
People are not making bonus and senior management has no urgency to change that. Every RM in this company is looking for a job. I promise you that at least 80% are out of here.
Jason Whiting is blind. instead of fixing problems, he has implemented a field tracking system, he is reading field coaching reports and has turned the area directors into micro managing nightmares. The RMs in turn are being forced to breath down your neck for metrics they don't give a shit about. I have been here a handful of years, and have done well and have done ok. This year is the worse year of my career, I have not made bonus, my AD refuses to fight for me to the VP for any relief, my tm's are not making bonus and there is NO relief being given on this. Jason had a call with us and blames vacancies for not growing but said everyone else is. He is clueless. He said he has read hundreds of coaching reports and has put micro management issues in place. Our global CEO is micro managing instead of FIXING! It is a disaster here and the ONLY positive thing he said on our call us that the ASM will not be in AC. That is All! In the meantime we can continue to not make bonus, struggle to make ends meet OR we can LEAVE! Get your resume out there. We are in a critical situation that has no positive outlook. Don't let Bob greene's positivity fool you! I heard horse shit straight from Jason's mouth. This is the worst!!!!!

Whatever happened to accountability? We continue to hear excuses from those who have failed despite having every opportunity to succeed. This is why we have had to turn over the field force and bring in the Firebrand model. Things have turned and we are seeing the last vestiges of these disgruntled malcontents. Good luck to you wherever you go but we will continue to grow and redefine the way business is conducted.

Another RM here. I can confirm this. It is not going to get better folks, this is going to crash and burn. We are being forced to hire anyone that will pass the psychological profile, but they are quitting faster than any other hires in history. They are not the right candidates for the job, turnover is up, sales are down, reimbursement is down, and upper leaders are still blind to their part in this. Get out now. New folks: don't take a job here.

There are over 95 vacancies right now in the sales force. That doesn't even count those who were just hired and those who are actively looking to leave. These numbers don't lie. Save yourself.

Most of us have reached apathy.

LOL! BAahahahahaha , says the new manager. I haven't laughed this loud in a long time.

Current job openings are below - just to summarize, this is:

12 out of 40 or so regional managers, so 1/3 of managers.
70 out of 400 or so TMs, so 20% of sales force.
Turnover is nearing 45%, average tenure has dipped below 18 months.

The numbers don't lie.

And more RMs on their way out.

And more RMs on their way out.

Its so funny to see the job posts from recruiters for these RM positions on MedReps. Comp $220k-240k at plan. There should be a law against this type of misleading information. They should be required to disclose $220k is possible in 1st year and all bets are off in 2nd year as quota structure was determined by a mad engineer who doesn't understand payor landscape and individual market changes.

This job should only be taken by the unemployed or someone looking to supplement their income with a low base salary and a sprinkle of commissions from time to time while working another job or business. You will work round the clock 7 days a week and get paid sh_t money.

Yeah, that's why most RMs are looking. Morale at all time low as people have lost faith in the decision makers.

Totally agree. It is downright unethical to promote the salary/bonus the way they are given how infrequently people make that AND that it is only for a year like you said. It is such a lie. But the 24/365 call is no joke. This has really had a negative impact on my family. We have decided as a family that I will find another job. Hopefully soon there will be no more ruined holidays.

These same things were never told to me during the interview process. $115K base for a general manager is for the unemployed only. This is not a typical RM job and you will be paid poorly after the first year. You will be chasing revenue documents while talking your TMs off the ledge every day. To make matters worse, you will now be micromanaged and questioned why your revenue goals are not growing like years past. Thry just don't get it. Senior leadership lives in a bubble and haunted by the former President who wants to milk his millions from the golf course.

Lol. Same problems, complaints and income as 7 years ago. You all are just a bunch of idiots who couldn't read threads from this site going way back. Don't complain, your the worst of the worst. That's why you were hired!
