The ‘Onyx’ people here mainly came from their non-oncology team that called on hepatologists, and NOT oncologists. They were second class citizens while there hence why no real oncology company hired them.

MK was a big pharma hack that only did a few years at Onyx and was ridiculed for how stupid he was with his big pharma market ideas. Couple that with arguably the worst of the worst at DNA in DS. I was there and he was a joke and was told he was un-promotable…so we just keep getting the worst of the worst.

Sounds like a recipe for disaster…

Rigel is indeed swirling the bowl. Most folks in the group have little understanding of where or how to appropriately position Tavalisse (which is a turd of a drug to begin with). The Sales people aren’t much more than your usual “semi” rare disease reps, who clock two half days a week and then point the finger at coverage issues. The truth is that most of their prescribers just don’t give a shit enough to work the Prior Auth through and opt to switch to something like Promacta. Everybody here is just picking up a paycheck at this point. The 20k to 30k options you are sitting on hold about as much value as a “one legged man” at an ass kicking tournament.

This company continues to slide down the toilet. Bonus structure sucks and many good reps have left. Upper commercial leadership has turned this into a “check the box”, big pharma shit show. Garbage!!!

I speak from direct experience working with him a two different companies. The man is clueless, lacks any leadership instincts, had trouble connecting with people and is abysmal at presenting and getting people to buy in. No surprise that this place is a S Show…executive leadership…we tried to warn you.
