REXULTI EXPOSED FOR THE FRAUD IT IS!

Keep the responses coming in.
We have plenty of independence as pharm reps. Plenty of time to have sidelines.
Please inform of real life experience in how you juggle it and how it’s working for you.
Real Estate: are you renting apartments, selling co-ops?
Anyone doing other profitable work?
This is great info to share.
Thanks

Side-Hustles?
Can we learn about other Side Hustles that pharm reps are working?
Any additional information is welcome to learn about real life gigs our colleagues are able to successfully juggle with their pharm Rep job.
Thanks!
Start by asking "What do people need?" "What can I do?" "What tools, equipment do I need to get?" "Who do I want to target?" "What does the competition do that I can do better and cheaper?"
You have a lot more options if you own a pick-up truck.
Here are some suggestions:

1.) Carpet cleaning...all it takes is $5000 of equipment.

2. Window washing, pressure washing driveways, gutter cleaning....easy

3.) Mobile car detailing service. Did you know that windshield wipers never need to be replaced? The blade can be sharpened with a $5 tool if necessary over and over. Apply a special coating to windshield, paint and tires to enhance appearance. All with stuff available from your auto store. Vaccum the interior with a powerful shop-vac. Air freshener. Charge $100-150! market yourself. Beginning may be hard, but eventually word gets around and you get repeat business as well.

4.) Start your own adult website. There are 8 billion people on this planet. Everyone is watching sooner or later. Buy content over the internet.

5.) You can also drive part time for DHL, Amazon, Fed Ex, or work part time for the USPS. Pay is usually around $21. Not much, but very steady income.

6.) Become a Youtube influencer. Women do this all the time. They dress in skimpy clothes, wiggle their butts a bit for 15 seconds, get 10 million clicks, and thousands of Dollars.

I have dozens of ideas for all of you. The marketing part of your services should be easy. But do it. Who can't use an extra 2000-3000 Dollars a month, instead of aimlessly driving around chasing doctors that don't want to see someone who has absolutely nothing to say except blah blah....

The last thing in the world you want to do: Put your trust, life and soul in a Pharma company. Several biggies have massive layoffs, i.e. Pfizer. A.I. WILL change things for all of us, because it will be much more effective and much cheaper than a drug rep...
There is no future in this industry. Smart people prepare for the future while they are young, so they can take it easy later on...CNBC reported today that an astonishing 62% of Americans LIVE CHECK TO CHECK.

Now imagine a drug company pulls the rug away from under your feet.

Are you prepared or do you have to eat hot dogs and potato chips?

Be careful with Real Estate. I have known more than one "investor" who said OMG when he inspected the house/apartment after the tenants moved out! It's not for everyone. I certainly wouldn't do it again. tenants don't care about ruined carpets, wholes in the wall, or any other condition.

Great advice! I have several friends in the real estate rental business, multi and single family. I have 3 ladies that I employee to clean apartments and houses after tenants move out. I have been doing it about a year now, and I will NET about $40,000 for 2023!!!! I have an LLC and a separate phone for the business, insurance, etc. The ladies are 1099. So far, with just the people I know, I have plenty of business. Let me tell you that an xtra $40k a year is mighty nice! Of course, I haven’t told a single soul that is in any way remotely connected with pharma! Talking about Rexulti all these years just about fried my brain, then the articles came out about that it’s basically useless, just reinforces my decision to keep the cleaning business going as long as possible. Also, I think a Lundbeck rep I know is doing something on the side as well but I sure as hell am not going to mention it!

Good for you! Now, INVEST your money, don't blow it on boats, trips to Lost Wages, a.k.a. Las Vegas.
You can also try a Landscaping business on the side. Market yourself to WEALTHY homeowners whom can afford your services and ELDERLY who can't do landscaping anymore but want to stay in their homes. You can also give your card to realtors who need to have a vacant property looking pristine.

There are endless possibilities. The dumbest thing you can do is not use your time wisely. If you can't do your territory in 2 days per week, you are doing something wrong. Why waste your time and feel guilty working instead of doing something on the side? You think Otsuka feels guilty firing you when your numbers are not there despite your best efforts?

Are you handy, like to work with wood? you can build birdhouses sell them on Etsy and craft shows, farmers markets.

ANYTHING IS BETTER THAN GETTING USED AND ABUSED AS DRUG REP FOR OTSUKA! YOU ARE INEFFECTIVE AT THIS POINT! THE PHYSICIAN HAS LONG MADE UP HIS OPINION ON REXULTI BECAUSE OF HIS EXPERIENCE, AND WHAT YOU TELL HIM MAKES NO DIFFERENCE WHATSOEVER! SO, GET OVER YOURSELF AND YOUR IMPORTANCE TO THE COMPANY. SALES WILL GO UP WHEN YOU DON'T WORK.

Regardless of how much you polish a horse apple, it will never become gold.

My Uber and Lyft gig netted me about 47000 so far this year. Couldn't care less what Otsuka thinks. I am sue by my comments here have reached the Execs office by now. Wish he could see my extended middle finger.

To the above poster, well said and great advice on side jobs! You are right about Rexulti. Nothing else left to say. If they are not using this me too by now, they never will, and who could blame them! Otsuka and Lundpuke tried to brainwash us about Rexulti but the truth has emerged!

Sorry, anything but crazy. I am a hustler with drive and ambition, while most Otsuka reps are talking heads, dead men (and women) walking like radio-controlled underwear. Purposeless, hoping the day goes by fast because they don't know what to do or say anymore. But there is always the gym, the golf course, the nail or beauty shop, right? And shopping of course. The entire salesforce is a total farce and not even needed, including the babysitters that "manage" it. I refuse to live my life like that.

Trying to promote this drug everyday for years would test the patience of Job! It’s totally unexciting and mind numbing as well. I dread coming back from vacation to see what lunacy is planned for 2024!

Exactly! you said what everybody should feel and think, but does not dare to say. After a while you can't listen to yourself talking about this dog anymore. My Uber / Lyft gig is what keeps me sane.

All of us want to tell a story a thousand times, but we only want to hear it once. That's why no provider pays attention to the Rexulti BS anymore. It's beyond me what the home office is thinking of what is going on in the field. Are they as braindead as the reps or in comatose denial?

These people couldn't do what they ask of us. The perfect example of incompetent leadership. How on earth can you expect the call frequency they demand without anything new to say? Do they honestly expect a provider to see us under these conditions? How dumb can you be?

Question for Otsuka: "Why don't you initiate head to head study Rex vs Abilify?"

"No way, it would most likely show that both drugs are too similar in efficacy with Rex being too expensive. And that would be the end of Rexulti".

As it should be!

Stupid Lundbeck rep wants to meet next week for a “special POA”! I almost said, meet for what, but I caught myself. This person is relatively new and must be properly trained in the way we do things. I think once they feel they can trust me, their true colors will come out and they will see we only do what is absolutely necessary around here to keep a paycheck coming in. They know how the game works, they just don’t know whom they can trust. This is not their first rodeo, so it will take a little time for the trust to develop. They already realize that they are selling a useless piece of shit drug. I already get the impression that they are slacking off quite a bit now, so I won’t have to work as hard to train them. Oh the world of pharma sales!

Left Otsuka several years ago. Got on with an international medical device company. The difference between med device and pharmaceutical sales is night and day. Curious as to how this me-too is doing. You guys left selling this dog should run a full court press to get into med device. Not only in the money much better, the docs look on you as part of their team. The perception that pharma sales is not real selling is still very much alive out here but you can do it if I did. Give it s shot. You have nothing to lowe.

Well, device companies frown on Pharma reps because they can't sell...
Besides...how is access to hospitals? It was tough 20 years ago, can't imagine it be any easier now!

Device rep responding to your question about hospital access. I spend most of my time in the OR. Access is no problem in my hospitals. Remember, I am seriously considered a member of the team during surgery. I see pharma reps very, very, very seldom in hospitals. I literally go for months w/o seeing one. I will say the pressure in the OR can be VERY INTENSE, but you learn to deal with it. I have the personal cell phone numbers of all of my surgeons, and we routinely meet for drinks, dinner with wives, etc. it really is a different relationship with my providers. I only regret I stayed in pharma for as long as I did.

So you’re basically a notch above a sales rep. Here’s your junior G man badge

Showing your age there bucko! Like other loser pharma reps, you are obviously jealous of this device guy/gal. We have never been considered a part of a docs team and never will. Think of yourself as a caterer and cow feeder. The most in depth conversation we have with providers is “sign here doc”. Also, I forgot the main thing, and that’s we are very skillful liars. Now go put your calls in bagel boy!
