good lord , you are exhausting, take a deep breath and listen, I came over 2 years ago from another company to sell Fasenra and my starting salary was slightly over 150

I work directly with HR. It is 100% for a fact the recently ousted Resp biologic positions will not pay more than $130k base.
You can say you make a kajullion dollars all you want and it won’t change the facts.

For the person asking about CV specialty base pay. Obviously it depends but if you are qualified then the base range is $105k-$115k. If you’re highly desirable then a DM may be able to fight and get you $120k but that’s not a guarantee.

OMG I can’t believe I even visit this board, I can’t believe the uninformed people that post as if they are informed! Very confident IDIOTS!! Maybe you can’t internally “ask” for more than $130K, but I’m an external that had WAY more than that THROWN at me to come over!! I don’t know if it’s just hurtful for people to admit AZ pays people so much when they themselves make way less, I’m not a psychologist, but I wouldn’t be here if I was only paid $130K bc my previous company paid me way more than that in Resp bio. Why would I come to AZ for less than I was already making? You have to understand that no one selling xolair, Nucala, or the Teva bio drug was making less than $130K so why the hell would they leave their company to come to AZ for less??? That is simply the pay scale for BIOLOGICS, not for AZ. AZ had to be generous to BE COMPETITIVE to get already high-paid people to come over. I don’t know what they paid internals but they would have no externals if they capped at 130K. I made over 130K base 5 years before AZ recruited me!! Get a brain!!!

We haven’t even hired for this Resp Biologics position yet so I’m 100% confident we aren’t paying you a KAZILLION dollars for positions that haven’t been filled. Lolololl. Oh yeah...we really just barely started conducting phone interviews in some places so there’s that too.

Did I mention I’m not in sales? I know exactly what we are paying EXTERNAL candidates for the Resp Biologic positions chief. I work directly with HR almost every single day so I DEFINITELY know the pay range.

Thank you for your responses. A general question. How long does it generally take to extend an offer to a candidate after the final interview? Is that normally done verbally first? Thanks
