Reps per District???

Why would they need 2 diabetes reps? There could be 1 for each therapeutic state and then in territories with more potential in diabetes would have the "overlay" position, which is posted on Ashfield website already.

The Rep Territory Maps will be released on June 17th. There will be 1 rep per territory. The 1 rep will be either BI or Ashfield.

The territory maps released in June 17th will be completely filled by BI reps only. Ashfield may have a rep in the same geography but that would be in addition to the BI rep. If a BI rep is placed into a TBS role and then chooses to leave the company or gets promoted, then and only then will an Ashfield rep be put into a TBS role. Geez.

You are WRONG!!! Ashfield is included in the 1 rep per territory. We asked Randolph that question. 1 rep per territory which INCLUDES the Ashfield reps already hired for a July 1 start. You act like some know it all and you're wrong! "Geez"

So if Ashfield rep has been hired for the territory, then there is no chance that a BI person will get to work with them?

On the call toady, it stated in writing that there could be one or more diabetes rep in your territory. In addition, an overlay rep. If you live in the south and are in the dark blue lower quadrant you have a good chance at this scenario.

wow, people on same call hear things differently. I was on RL call and I thought he said 1 BI for resp and Ashfield hired are additional to help with Stiolto. We will find out soon what it is. No sense arguing and just wait to see.

That is correct for respiratory. For diabetes there could be an overlap territory. Only 1, BI or Ashfield for respiratory

Only 1 respiratory rep per territory. Oh my! Now lincare will gain even more market share with duonebs woohoo! Down with stiolto, spiriva, and combivent. Garbage meds with a weak sales staff is a recipe for failure!

I'm Pulm Spec, so I'm accustomed to a large territory, but my impression is that the Resp territories are very manageable (much smaller than I'm currently used to), but may seem much larger to a PCP rep based on their current geography size. My perception of the diabetes territories, especially the overlaps, are that they are VERY small....extremely manageable. I'm actually concerned that they are too small and reductions could occur again soon hereafter.

Based on my 'new' district, about 1/2 Resp reps will get laid off based on number of current reps compared to new territory alignments and all current diabetes reps will have a spot (10 reps in place now, and 10 spots in new alignment).
