Rep Interviews starting - let's share information!

Value of this company has eroded by 50% in 3 months. That is a giant neon sign that spells trouble. Stock plummeting, company is running out of reserves, inept management and a commodity product is all anybody needs to know to keep away from this opportunity. Somebody wrote that the recruiter must be getting nervous and that’s an understatement.

The recruiter and the company should be nervous. The lack of leadership in the organization is apparent and they are having trouble getting talented people as a result. Their interview tactics wreak of big pharma and the word is out to stay away unless you are desperate.

I passed on an offer here after meeting with the home office leads in Chicago and know I’m not alone with my decision. These people are batsh*t crazy. Mike C and John S are complete idiots. Their interview tactics were straight out of 1998. All they talked about is how they’re going to have the best launch ever according to Mike the meathead. Pathetic.

Can anyone tell me whether these two have any diabetes experience? How about their marketing person? Lack of know how and diabetes experience begins to explain why this place is a dud and one to avoid

Ha. You met with dumb and dumber. These as*holes are dinosaurs

It’s going to be interesting to see how the launch goes, if they get approval. It’s not like there aren’t other products that meet this need for patients. It’s actually funny when you think about it, a start-up company with no diabetes experience and questionable launch experience thinking they are going to launch a new product against market leaders that have been in heavily involved in this specialty for decades. Are they that arrogant or just that dumb?

I thought they hadn't started face to face interviews yet. Just phone screens

No other products? Um Lilly will have their inhaled glucagon available a couple of months before Xeris. Honestly the lack of diabetes experience means nothing. Diabetes and the Endo market are fairly easy to penetrate and don't take much brainpower. Its a step above primary care basically.

Okay thanks Mike C for your pearls of wisdom. Don’t forget lack of launching a pharmacy drug, lack of retail drug experience, lack of leadership, lack of primary care and lack of basic common sense and decency. The bar to success has fallen so low that any clown can lead a pharma company and succeed. You just need a hundred other desperate clowns like the posters here to have an impact.

I'm curious about how much of this thread is true and how much it is one or two people who have a personal vendetta against this Mike guy. It seems like they spend a lot of time here instead of living their lives.

Ha. You must be pretending you’re new to CP because it’s not as if you’re not doing your fair share of trolling here.

this a small start up and not any mid or large pharma where people bashing is a sport

to have this much negativity already tells me there’s truth to it making me and others who genuinely looked into it to stay away

it’s not just about this mike dildo, there’s low salary, low bonus potential, low car allowance, huge territory and a huge risk

there are way better fish out there to be found

I agree on the risk, but I feel the salary is high. I was told 110-140, bonus 36k. Not crazy about the car allowance coming from the company car world. But I think the opportunity sounds great as long as everything is as they say.

The salary is industry standard. So many people here are angry and posting simply to find a place to vent. Honestly a therapist would be your best place to put it all out there.

The product is Definitley needed in the diabetes arena. If I d it to be exciting. However, Lily will have their inhaler on then market soon ace established reps that have been dropping hints and creating a need for Physician’s for a while already.

Big concern however is the rapid fire pace that was part of the interviewing before. I was literally trying to juggle my time with all interviewing and traveling to meet the sales manager ( at very inconvenient times and places), and suddenly NoTHING. Recruiter says that they pushed next set of interviews back, etc. . . Removed the trust factor. Is this how they will run the business?
