If Rotech got rid of the RM's and AM's think of the staff that could be hired and kept. Plus the raises that would be available for the people that truly run the locations. The LCM's, SR's, CSR's and PST's.

Talk about uneducated. No one stated anything about a SR NOT bringing in business. It appears the poster was attempting to show the PST's are a good source of growth by their kindness when going to a home.

Maybe a poor attempt, however, your attempt at being in the know is just as bad.

Yup, grow that cash cane, crutch, and walker business with your drivers and see how that works out for the company. Add that to the pile of other GREAT ideas they have had over the years and how that is turned out. Whever wrote this most definately still works for the company and is a driver I am guessing. That statement really shows how the person who is a driver has zero idea what a sales rep does or how the whole system works business generationw ise. Any sane person who understands anything about obtaining business in the DME industry would realize the business is really not generated by the patients it is generated by the doctors and hospitals. This is not a retail structure where a delivery driver can generate business without an order or a doctors visit and of course need.

You do realize the company employes a ton of hairy legged not so good looking men in the SR role also right? And some of them do get quite a bit of business right? I think you are thinking of pharma where you really do not have to sell much and there is not much competition for your product since many times you are a single source for a patented product. When you have many options in a large market for DME nice legs are not going to get it done when there might be better ones down the street with the same thing to offer both leg wise and product wise.
