Redhill Biopharmaceuticals

I'm a drug rep who recently considered them but passed. Look up their financials, the company is NOT profitable. Last three years bottom line loss has increased each year, whether or not they can stay open is anybody's guess. Stock is nearly worthless, looking at their chart, it looks like a classic RUN-ON-THE-BANK! Shareholders started exiting this stock well before the recent wall street sell-off, so their stock was in BIG trouble well before the general market downturn. Then look at their products, first they have an H Pylori drug that is a complete repackage of treatments that have been out for 20 years!! All they did was shove 2 antibiotics in the same capsule with a PPI - end of story. Second they bought the remaining rights (road kill) of POOP DRUG Movantik for OIC from AstraZeneca which was getting killed in the space by Linzess, Trulance, and a host of others for constipation. That's it folks!!!! An old repackaged drug, and a road kill POOP drug. Good luck, I sincerely hope your paychecks keep clearing the bank. FYI....Just check their careers page, it looks like a major ongoing expansion is underway with new major cities being added by the day!

It’s a start up company so it’s still in a growing phase. Movantik has actually grown and taken lead amongst approved and indicated PAMORAs for OIC. Comp plan is primo at the moment. Top reps making 20-40k a quarter, bottom reps making around 7k. Sounds like you got passed over and are a little bitter. Start-ups aren’t for everyone and come with great opportunity and some growing pains. RedHill is what you make out of it.

With about six years under their belt, Redhill is no startup. Startups either blow up and get bought (Pharmasett) or flame out and die (Synergy) the first two years. Nothing is happening at Redhill except the stock is now 95% lower than it was six years ago. You can’t make a silk purse out of a cow turd.

Is anyone surprised? A terrible severance is another example of why the culture and company has turned to shit. Terrible Leadership!

For all those left, watch your back! You are just a number!

I'm really sorry for you guys. I almost hired on with RH as I was closely considering a position but it didn't come through - thankfully. Instead, I was hired with another very reputable and strong company. I prayed throughout the process for the right opportunity, not what I wanted, but what was best for me according to God's will. For those wondering what your next move is, consider praying and asking God for direction - be serious and wait for direction - He will provide. All the best!

Knew the culture had become a nightmare, today all employees felt like criminals in a court room waiting for a phone call to find out their fate… Disappointing isn’t strong enough. For those of us safe, people are right…get out while you can! They prob are doing this in waves and getting ready to sell or go bankrupt. No one is safe and this company doesn’t deserve! All I did was dodge a bullet and people can’t feed their families off of 2 weeks severance. My heart goes out to all of you that got let go! Worked your asses off in a hostile company with bullshit appreciative goodbye.

This is the most pathetic separation package I have ever heard of in pharma. At least most companies will do the right thing by their employees when they are laid off like this.

I hear you, and yes it stinks, but Redhill is NOT most pharma companies! This is and has been a very poorly run company for a long time. These guys are completely broke, and likely don't have the funds to run general operations much less pay a severance. What's happening is liquidity is drying up fast (tide is going out), and many borrowers like Redhill aren't wearing a bathing suit, and thus will be exposed for what they are, a losing company that nobody wants to invest capital in! The stock market will continue to decline, and loser companies will be cut off from liquidity, and only the strong will survive. Check their cash runway, the end is likely near! Good luck

Layoffs of employees with 2 week severance who have been there since the beginning was such an awful disrespectful move. RS and RJ are the worst leaders I’ve ever worked for. They don’t listen to anyone and don’t realize they are completely out of touch in 2022 Pharma. Dror makes a huge mistake listening to those guys.
